There gonna end up being worst company for 3 years running now. I just cant believe the shit people do! I was at work when all this came about but I immediatly looked more into it the minute I was home and I can not believe the nerve of some people. I dont like console bashing. Ill state thjat plain and clear. Each one has flaws and imperfections. Not a single one is perfect. The Wii U has a lot of potential even if its hardware technically isnt what people call next gen high. The only thing bringing it down is there is barely any games for it but I feel once E3 passes we will see the library grow for it. This guy right here deserves prick person of the year award next to Adam Orth. Its sad he even deleted what he said, once its on the internet, its stays on there forever!

There's a story about this on Gamespot. I've been watching the comments. It's over 2000 now. Most of which are idiotic trolls bashing the Wii U. It's a massive flame war over there lol. I wonder if that dude is gonna get fired next week.

I would be shocked if he wasnt but then again he works for EA, they might just let him get away with it. The Wii U is a good system, I dont see why it gets bashed. I miss having the one I had.

I want a Wii U too.  Haters always gonna hate.  I love Nintendo.  They'll do fine.

I think they will too, Nintendo is a pretty smart company, a lot of people dont give them enough credit. I wil have one again, I jsut dont know when.

Well, lack of sales and weak third party support are legitimate issues that could lead a developer not to want to produce content for a console ... but this was the dumbest way the guy that works at the "Worst Company in America" could have said that.

Which is sad in itself, the Wii U is a good system, all it really needs are more games for it. I think the thing with Sega will help it. Not save the day but atleast help things along. Im really hopeing he gets fired, jsut like Adam Orth tis guy doesnt need a job like he has if he is gonna act that way.

You know what everyone one has there systems of choice and thats fine and dandy and your right theres something for everyone on every system, i am an xbox 360 player and although i have a buddy i play around with bashing the ps3 i actually plan on getting one when the next gen ssystems release and the price drops, and althougj im not at all big on the Wii i do own one, the Wii u well im not a fan at all but to each there own and im certainly not going to tell u the wii u sucks and the box rocks lol its childish and just not true, with that said theres always going to be people like this who get a high i suppose out of bashing systems and although its his right as far as freedom of speech is concerned its also our option to tell him to shut up andnot listen.

And also know that EA reps Credibility is zilch just ask my EA freind and on top of that the Wii U will have to get 3rd party developers to jump in and develop games for them and if they feel there's money to be made and its feasible they will make games for the Wii U and in my opinion i cant imagine how they could possibly think they couldn't unless of course if there eyeing th. E two super sysystems Of Sony and Microsoft .

EA is most likely eyeing both next gen systems of Sony and Micro but hell if I was Sony I wouldnt let them make games for my system if they are gonna have idiots like that employeed for them. Who you have working for you reflects your company and clearly they dont want a nice good name to themselves like they had been setting out to do. I see EA winning worst company again next year. Im not a fortune teller but ya I still see it happening.

Yea EA pulls some shinanagans every year and like i was just saying on another blog the pulled there online pass bull because of what happened with there release of Sim City which i might add was the worst disaster EA ever had and it ruined there rep pretty bad, and this is just the start of EAs attemt at bringing there rep back up.

EA isn't doing so well themselves. As pointed out by this Forbes article and their bad financial earnings which required the CEO to step down citing poor financial returns.

[John Riccitiello, the CEO of EA ] My decision to leave EA is really all about my accountability for the shortcomings in our financial results this year.

The always-on debacle for Sim City and attitude towards DRM, Anti-Piracy Policy, and reliance on DLC were also cited as problems hurting the company image.

They aren't on WiiU because they can't afford to make games for every console anymore and Nintendo won't bow down to their ridiculous DRM policies. FIFA for WiiU   was aweful. I would rather they not make games for my console if they aren't going to make a good effort. Yeah, I'm blaming EA for making a bad game as a reason for  poor sales and not Nintendos hardware. On the software front, Nintendo might have lower quantity but definitely higher quality which is why Nintendo will still get my dollars in the end.

I think by 2015 or 2016 EA becoming like THQ. I dont think there is gonna be much to recover them within in the next few years. Yes, they have the Sims 4 releasing in 2014 which I wont lie Ill prolly get because I love the series but I dont think that will be enough. I dont even think next gen can help them now unless they decide to push out some really good games for the future consoles. Nintendo is def getting my money, they have released tons of stuff I enjoy so ill continue to show my support.

Holy Bat, Crapman!  I'm glad I read about this here first, thanks for posting, Nicole.

Where do I begin?  For starters, I boycotted EA a while ago, around the mid 00's, due to their buggy rehashes of Madden.  I'd finally had enough and, other than for gifts for other people, have not purchased a single EA game since only purchased NFL Blitz on PSN Store, an IP which originated with Midway and was purchased during bankruptcy.  This isn't to say they don't make some good games.  They do.  It's their practice of rehashing I disagree with.

The immense flame wars flaring up at other mega-sites proves to me that both EA and Nintendo are a focal point of discussion.  A couple sites have +5000 comments already.  I can't remember the last time I saw a debate get so heated.  Obviously, I like Nintendo, but I know better than to step in that pile of fiery dung.

The more I think about this upcoming generation, the more I realize it will be a long haul instead of instant gratification.  Nintendo's always been wise to minimize their loss-leader margins.  Didn't the Wii, couple with DS, catapult Nintendo to become Japan's richest company at one time, due to the fact that Wii was profitable from day 1?  How did EA's 3DO fair?  Apple's and oranges, perhaps, but it didn't do too well.

Next, I refuse to watch the video (did read the twat's tweets), but I can't believe a professional in the industry would produce something so brazen and crude.  What happens if Wii U turns around and sells well?  This day will be remembered if/when EA comes whimpering back.  I'm half tempted to email an EA rep a piece of my mind.

Lastly, I'll say that since the recent major update to Wii U's OS, it's been operating rather smoothly.  It hasn't frozen on me once, and every app finally works.  The transition between games and apps is indeed much faster than before.  Granted, I don't game on it much, but I'm not gaming much in general anyway, for personal reasons.  I am using it more, though, for surfing the web, Netflix, YouTube, etc.  As I was saying about the long haul that this next generation will be, I think Nintendo is perhaps actually very forward thinking, more than I give credit for in recent blogs.  Perhaps they are thinking so far ahead that the plan is not evident at this time.  Who knows, we can only wait and see.  What I do know, though, is that the 3DS landed with a thud upon launch, and look where it is today.

As long as the Wii U library grows, it should turn around a sell super well. The system itself in my opinion is great. I loved having one and have it on my re buy list. Just the games are low right now but I really feel E3 is gonna be a change to that. I think they will announce a lot for the Wii U since there gonna give it its own Nintendo Direct. The Wii U might be behind in the first half of the next gen but I feel Nintendo knows what they doing and will get it picked up before too long.

Im becoming less and les shocked about what the hell comes out of some peoples mouths. First it was Adam Orth and now this. Im waiting for the third person to pop up now who hasnt a single bit of common sense.

short sighted of him and short sighted if EA don't comment because Nintendo have been around for ever! Like the Wii U is really going to kill them off. I must admit I ve been disappointed at Wii U's launch and approach, the same has to be said of the 3DS. The 3DS has some awesome games and I know more will come, I also appreciate the market at the moment and it;s a tough sell for any company to invest in producing new games at the moment but even nintendo's e shop is lacking when you conside the enormous back log of games Nintendo own the rights too. I don't understand Nintendo'd approach.... but then I'm not a Video games/ console producer and they are. They always seem to pull it off and they seem to do what works for them so I'll just have to do with Nintendo what I ve always done, sit back and wait patiently.

The launch hasnt been nothing special but not many console launchs are anymore. The PS3's wasnt good either but its doing really well with a big library of games. We just need to give things time, I got a good feeling about the end half of this year and beginning of next your game wise. The 3DS for me seems to have picked up. Not to mention with all the old DS games you play on the system I was never bored when I had one, Im excited to own one again on June 9th. EA still hasnt said anything concerning what that idiot posted on twitter nor have I heard he "resigned". I guess they like being the worst company!

If Nintendo would release the JRPG games from Japan like they promised back in February, then I think the Wii U will take off. The Wii U is a nice system I just am not on board with it yet. Of course I will own one. I just will not get the next gen Xbox or PS4 I am done with those two. I am focusing more on my old school games and the Vita/3DS. These guys are everywhere (Doomsayers) I call them.

Nicoleb1989

They def are everywhere and they get annoying really fast. Maybe they will announce the JRPG's during E3 this year! I plan to re own one later on this year or beginning of next. Once the PS4 goes live to preorder I have to work to pay it off so prolly no big buys for me during that time. I cant lie Im excited for next gen though. Im a gamer what can I say :P

This EA person is (apparently) an EA Software Engineer. Now, there might not be much communication between the engineers in each gazzilion of labels that EA has, but I have to say this: Need for Speed Most Wanted U is an amazing arcade based racing game. It's under the label of EA Games, and last I knew they were using the PC assets for it. The High res ones. That the PS3 and 360 aren't.

I'm not saying the Wii U is as powerful as the PS4, or 720, but for a senior engineer to say that. Good golly.

It's not just Mario and Zelda games that make money for Nintendo. It's Pokemon games too. Their hardware makes money, even when they're 3rd in this supposed console "race".

Ea doesn't want to make games for the Wii U because of its low install base. Fine. Just come out and say it. No need for throwing poop bombs at your competiotn because you can't handle it.

EA seems to have this thing about doing things the wrong way instead of the right way now a days. Yet they think their not the worst company? I think they need check themselves before they wreck themselves. I swear more people are popping up with no common sense. I think its becoming so rare its about to go extinct. Im glad to hear that NFSMWU is a great game, once I have a Wii U Ill be getting it for sure then. I miss playing the NFS series.

On Wired's Game/Life podcast today Chris Kohler mentioned that EA initially declared themselves very supportive of the Wii-U. Now, not even Madden is going to have a Wii-U version. I wonder what happened?

I'm thinking of getting a Wii-U when Pikmin 3 comes out in August.

I'm sure Nintendo doesn't care. They've always been distant with third party support. They just have to put out Mario, Zelda, and Metroid and their system will do fine. Oh yea, and maybe some casual stuff too.

I kept trying to reply to ur comment yesterday and the site decided not to work. Today however it is working! Asrealasitgets pointed out that finicially they cant make games for all systems and they prolly decided to chop the Wii U. Pikman 3 is looking like its gonna be fun. They showed more of it in this months Nintendo Direct.

Im hopeing we actually hear more about the next console Zelda and Super Smash Bros!
