I don't listen to much rap anymore, but my friend sent me the Snoop Lion album the other night.  HAven't listened to it though yet. 

I don't blame you, i've been listening to old Grand Puba lately, all i can say is "daay-yem"!

Huh, rap aint what it used to be.

Over the weekend, my friends & I watched that Snoop Lion documentary, Reincarnated.  It's on Netflix.  It's funny stuff. 

yeah that's what I've been told.

I like old rap songs.  I have little interest in finding any newer music. 

S'all i've been doing for the past couple weeks, just tracking down some of the better years of rap and Hip-Hop. Ugh, if only we knew 

Yeah, I saw the recent episode of Rap Critic, too. I admit, I liked that Ja Rule song, but I never paid attention to the lyrics.

I never paid attention too them either till i was about 17 and in college. My gawd, the hot garbage they fuse together made me wonder how they got away with it 

Very good flow, had some nice beats and samples and the female vocals were a good complement. Great share.

Although don't get too nostalgic. There's still some good Rap and Hip-Hop. you just have to look more deeply. For example, Joe mentioned above Rap Critic, who has shared some good modern songs and there's always Lupe Fiasco.

Yeah i got Lupe latest album, Bitch bad is one of my fav songs of last year.

I must've missed this one back in the 90's. I think I was too focused on the usual suspects during this time period. That reminds me, some of them are in my summer soundtrack.
