Well, I'm sorted now, this whole endevour has been stressful and exciting. I might not have anything else to Blog about the next 2 days (unless I cut some content from here) but I said I would reveal my specs when I had more or less finished and since I'm able, here they are...

Cosmos II Notebook: 15.6"

Processor: Intel i7-4700MQ quadcore - 2.4gh/Turbo 3.4

Harddrive: Western Digital - 1tb

Ram: 12gb (Originally 8gb)

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium x64-bit

Graphic Card: NVidia GeForce GT 750M - 2gb

What's great is I can now run a game and search the web at the same time on the same device and nothing slows down.

Laughing

I've changed the default sfx to a Zelda theme, my login sound is the fanfare music, my log off/shutdown is Prelude of Light, Recycle is a bomb explosion and so on and so forth.

Problems

Problems I still have.

Hotkeys: Currently not all the Hotkeys work, I uploaded all the drivers and only the essenta ones work, I can't turn of wi-fi or change display functions. (as in transfering computer screen to the TV or use as an extention). There are direct shortcuts that aliviate this well enough but it's still a little annoying.

Using a Mouse: I still need to get used to it, figuring out the keys and the arrows or W,A,S,Z  to move doesn't feel right at the mo. I have Team Fortress and Planetside2 to Practice on so we'll see how things turn out.

Problems I had

As you know employing the drivers was awkward it took days and little sleep, from hotkeys to Hardware. getting the internet functions working was fustrating and but i think getting the GPU to work was the worst. After day 2 it finally worked however later on as I downloaded some more stuff, i tried to load up a game but the GPU wouldn't pick up the slack, yesterday I uninstalled reinstalled and updated the latest GPU drivers and software and now everything moves smoothly.

Future Plans

My Xmas Bonus is coming and I'm going to treat myself too some stuff

- That figma Link toy to go next to my Samus

- I'm going to get a cooling pad as mentioned but I've thought about it and I think I'm going to get an Xbox360 controller, wired. As much as I like my little controller I just need to have a more convenient input devise. And since the 360s life span is on it's end, it'll be relativly cheap to purchase now, I hope.

- Wi-Fi booster. I'm tired of my weak unstable signal, I'm getting this.

TP-LINK TL-WA850RE 300Mbps UniversalWireless N Range Extender

- This has an Ethernet port so now I won't lose a signal unless the main router flip-flops. Again.

- I'm getting a desk to go over my bed, like the ones in Hospitals. It has wheels and everything!

- 2 TB Harddrive, this'll be to replace my 1tb which has all my movies and cartoons. The other? maybe games but we'll see.

Well this might be it for now, this has been a crazy week,if this is the last Bog this, I'd like to thank you all for joining me in this journey, it's been fun.

This is V saying "Feel the Power!"

My hands are stained with green blood and the floor is covered in broken rubix!

Sounds great Ash. You're a brave one doing all that config by yourself. I wouldn't do it. :)  I like the bed tray. Luckily I have pretty decent wireless and I also have d-link plug-ins that let me use the electrical wiring like a wired network which works pretty well.

You know. You could probably launch all of the world's nuclear ICBM's with that beast. My "Beast" desktop PC can't even touch those specs! I feel so inadequete. I need to update!

It's sollid for now but by the end of the years i'll be updating the processor to a i7-4900MQ, which goes to 3.2GHz. The GPU is doing well but my GPU monitor gadget shows often my games use more than 1gb.

Don't be foolesd by the specs Desktops are capable of running games more smooth with lesser specs.

I hate the WASZ set up too, which is why I asked for a 360 controller for Christmas.

Hum, didn't know a WASZ setup existed. Isn't the AWSD setup more common? I seem to be using that, which I guess is easier to get used to.
