Baseball, apple pie, killing nazis...

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

Killing Nazis never goes out of style.

Coming soon: A VR Sociopath’s take on Wolfenstein: The New Order

Be afraid.

Be very afraid.

I love this game.  It does feel very appropriate that they released it the week before Memorial Day.

twas marketing genuis it was! I thought it was rather fitting and a great reason to buy this game over the weekend. I have no regrets!

Ok so is it worth snagging or should I wait for a price drop although I do love history and killing Nazis as well.

If you really really really really really really REALLY love killing nazis like I do then this would be a solid buy at full price. Even the unlocks alone help the replay value. But with that said I've only had the game for almost a week and I've already beaten it, unlocked all the perps your character can use, solved the enimga codes for the extra features and just need three more trophies once I play the game on uber difficulty.

Unless you have no problems killing the same nazis in various ways of death then I'd get it.

This game comes with 4 discs in the Xbox 360 version. 4 discs! The first one you install right away and then the levels are on 2-4. I'm just starting disc 4.

when I read about taht I decided to get the PS3 version instead of trying for a PS4. I can't even think of using four discs to play that game! though it does make me wonder if the textures and area mapping is better on Xbox 360. The only comparisons I've seen has been on the PS4/Xbox One.

If you've yet to fully explore the resistance hideout here's a tip: go to the top floor of the place and look for the original Wolfenstine 3D artwork on one of the walls. You'll find a bed on the floor there taht you can investigate. You won't reget it!

Ah yes, the nightmare bed. I have found that one. Very cool!

Have you discovered the little toy fetch quest you can get in that one big guy's room?

NSonic79

05/31/2014 at 12:26 PM

i did do that toy cetch quest but i dont recall it doong anything. if anything im having a hard time finding all the health/amour upgrades and the records. ive only found two of the records so far.

KnightDriver

Yea, I don't think that fetch quest did anything. Maybe the big guys likes you more now.

I've been looking for all the collectibles and wondering about the Enigma codes. Once you find them all, you go to the Extras section and figure out the code to unlock Game Modes. I'm totally mystified as to how to do that. There don't seem to be any clues as far as I can see.

mostly you have to mess with them till you get a basic number combination that works. In reality they are not that hard to find given how they are not that complex. One of the code sequences I happen upon by chance. The code itself, I don't recall if it was set 1, 2, 3 or 4, but it was space balls-ian in comparison.

I saw these math equations on the walls in many of the levels. I figured they were for something, and then I figured (with a little help from the net) that they refer to the enigma codes. Nuff said. Solution found.

good man. figured that out myself after my first guesswork paid off.

I apologize. I shouldn't even bring such things up. Too much in the spoiler territory.

"BLAZKOWICZ HE WILL AGAIN HINDER OUR PLANS AND FUCK"

I don't need to watch that first video thanks to the screen capture. That rocks.

NSonic79

I thought that screen capture ironic given how Blazkawicx does exactly that in the game. Twice mind you!

Definitely looks like some good Nazi-stomping fun is going to be had.

indeed it is. old skool style with some modern takes on the genre. the alterate history setting is enough for me to keep me engrossed for hours!
