I'm almost back in action people so you better run for it!
For those that didn't heed that last sentensce, here's a little something something to tide you all over. Consider it a hint of what I MIGHT blog about in the coming days. (as well as the picture above.)

Lol zombie run.
That look on the runner's face was priceless.
Zombie runs are creepy.
I never understood zombies runs myself. I'm too use to the old standard of zombies not being able to run. We do have zombie walks around here but I've never attended one.
With that being said, I've always wanted to dress up as a zombie and invade a 2K run around here. It would be hilarious but I might end up in jail. Again.
A running zombie doesn't make sense. I mean..., aren't their bodies rotting? There is no blood pumping in their veins. No oxygen is going to their muscles. Do they even have muscles? How are they going to run if they're rotting? And, if they could run, they sure as hell wouldn't run long or have super human strength. 
I know right! It doesn't make sense that zombies can run now. It all started with that stupid "rage zombie" craze to justify them being more quicker thus dealier. I've even heard of people justifying this that the virus super charges the zombies thus making them able to run. They can do all they want to justify the removeal of riger mortis but it still doesn't make much sense. World War Z was the worst with the " flowing sea" of the undead.
Of course games like Left 4 Dead and Dead Island didn't help.
Give me classics zombies. Oddly that makes more sense than the rage zombies of now.
I always loved the trailer for Zombieland where the main characters see a zombie and then start running from them to the music of Van Halen's "Everybody Wants Some". Forget about logic, running zombies are hilarious! At the 1 min mark it's "Zombie Kill of the Week" and the VH song. Love that sequence - makes me laugh every time.
Oh yea, and this intro to the movie with Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" Awesome!

The sad part to all of that is that sadly none of those scenes really interested me in that movie. I think I even have the movie at home (as an Xmas gift) and have yet to watch it. I know it's odd, it has all the signs of a good zombie movie yet not even seeing who the "camero" character in that movie moved me to give it a go. Not sure why.
The movie was ok. My favorite part was these trailers really. There's an even better one I saw in the theaters but I couldn't find it on youtube.
The only time it's cool for the infected to be quick moving is when they are not "true zombies" and merely humans with rabies ala 28 days later.
I'm still waiting for 28 months later.....
