Hello all! I am sorry that I have not been active online as of late. I had to deal with some personal issues after BaD. Plus it was a bit too much for me given all that happened during my birthday months. Plus I also had to recover from the partying I did last month. March is also looking to be a busy month including plans to travel once again. So with that in mind I had to make some plans.

At the beginning of this month I had tend to the passing of my aging Acer A500 iconia tablet. It has been on it's last legs for awhile now, here not even simple apps could load on it, so it was no shock that it finally failed to boot up. "Teh Wife" says it was my fault given how I hardly let the thing get a moments rest. (I only put it on sleep mode, never shutting it down). I originally thought I could get use to not having a tablet, instead only using my iphone 4 but over time I couldn't get use to using such a small screen for moble computing. Though I had a netbook as well, I always found a tablet to be helpful when you need to do random things than waiting for my netbook to power up.

So in a bid of desparate action I sold my Acer netbook on craigslist and tried to use the funds to buy a 2-in-1 hybrid mobile device. I of course didn't have enough money on hand to get a new tablet right off the bat given how last month I got a brand new Wii U, so selling my prized blogging PC was a little hard to get use to. Originally I actually intended on just getting two cheaper units but the money I got from the Acer netbook sale wasnt' enough. But thanks to "The Wife's" suggestions and a co-worker's buying advice, I was able to get this Asus T100 Transformer instead.

She was told that the T100 was a great hybrid device for those that wanted the power of a netbook and the functionality of a table. But the cheapest I could find was a $329 unti at a local walmart. But thanks to my co-worker who told me of Walmart's Online Price Match Policy, I was able to get this unit with the money I had on me from the Acer netbook sale!

Thank you Red Laser!

As for the unit itself it has it's pros and cons. Right now I am using it to type out this blog and for the most part it gets the job done. I'll get into more detail once I have more time but for the most part I'm happy with my purchase. So far I've come up with a name to call it but I'm still trying to get the hang of it given my more use to android and Win7 OS's. Plus I don't have it set up quite the way I like it.

It's always fun breaking in new toys!

Pretty nice. I'm lucky my Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablet/e-reader hasn't died as of this writing.

My dad has one of those but I honestly never warmed up to them myself. They do seem easy but they just don't seem to have enough for me to get me interested. I guess i'm too much of a android user myself.

I'mnot sure if NSonicus Prime will take over my desktop PC. it still has it' susages. Moreso since NSonicus Prime only has 32GB of memory.

Oh yea, the memory thing. I didnt' think I was using much memory on my laptop, but I just looked and it's at almost 200 GB. I guess I'll have to make sure I have the memory covered in my next computer.
