I bought Borderlands 2 on day one and have bought every DLC separately; I don't regret it. I was ready for that game. I understand your decision but with a game this recent, a GOTY will be a while. Maybe in the fall, perhaps?

Gaming is old enough to have earned its right as a hobby, rather than be relegated to a kid's toy. The issue is that it hasn't been around long enough for the majority of people to accept it as such. So it still needs time to grow and a certain generation of people who think ill of it need to die off. ;)

Yikes. I hope you're able to get all of your stuff back, unless it was game saves or DLC that's not available anymore.

True. I don't see how Ubisoft would support one platform and not the other in this case but I bet there's precedent for that.

How I feel about Bay's approach to TMNT is the same way I feel about George Lucas' approach with the SW prequels; my memories of the original iterations of the characters and universe can't be messed with. All that can happen is that my interest in any ongoing narrative is destroyed.

I too loved TMNT as a child but, aside from wanting to check out the original graphic novels, nothing about the franchise has made me want to check back in. So I feel indifferent about this new movie.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past has great ending music, a 7-minute piece that sneaks in the original theme at one point.

Nice write-up. This will probably be the first TR game I'll ever play (the earlier games look like they don't hold up as well) so its good news to hear that the story mode at least is worth it.

How are the puzzles? Are they consistent in quality as far as challenge or presentation?
