I'm at that point where I don't even care if they have backwards compatibility anymore. It'll never be an all in 1 media hub like the b/c PS3. Let them shoot themselves in the foot for all I care. I won't upgrade for a very long time since that is the case. By then, it'll be cheaper, and have a solid library of games. EA, SE and Konami have their own issues to sort out. End result: publish decent games, and I will buy them. Maybe even brand new. What they do in their own companies doesn't even concern me anymore. Why complain about what you can't change? Like any business, they are only concerned with the bottom line. Speak with your wallets. It's time to grow up, video game industry.

Ha! Me too. It's the game that got me interested in FF again. After 13 came out, I gave up on the series as a lost cause. It's the only reason I'm looking forward to Lightening Returns at all.

Basically, you can tag people and use their Mii's in a couple different minigames on the device. You also get play coins by walking around with the device to use in them, up to 10 a day. It's pretty cool, but I wish there was a game on there that let you play with others' Mii's, like maybe a sim game or virtual town.

Thanks, you too! I picked up FM Evolved because I heard good things about the series, and it was complete for under $10. If nothing else, it can go in my Square Enix game collection if it's bad lol.

I agree with all your points. In fact, there were a lot of things about FF X that made it into XIII which I hated. I did replay 13 a year ago and enjoyed it better, mainly because I just plowed through the game and then just maxxed out my party for several hours on the Archellyte Steepe instead of trying to enjoy the game as a whole. And I think that's where it fails. When most of the game is lacking except for one area, the whole game is substandard and doesn't let me enjoy the journey. 13-2 did a lot better by me in the way of storytelling and freedom.

I think the ninja theme of being an 80's kid was more gimmick than anything else. The NG games weren't all that hard. Yeah, the first game was very cheap, but the second one wasn't as unmanageable. It's too bad this game didn't come out in the west though. It looks pretty cool.
