Been a long time since I played this one. I still need to finish MGS3. Got MGS4 & have not even started it. Until I get through those its hard to justify a replay, too many in the back log. Despite Raiden MGS2 was a really superb game. MGS on PS1 is still my personal favorite.

Gemini:  I hear  ya on the backlog, Yeah, I wouldn't start this game until you have a lot of spare time to devote to it...a lot!  Yep, MGS on PS1 is my all time favorite and Im saving it for last.

Geh, I still need to get the MGS collection but both Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge and Resident Evil Revelations are coming up and they'll probably take priority. In some alternate reality I just know I have more money! Must be a blast for other-me!

I really want to replay this one myself, I forgot about the dog tags. I think I tried to get them all once, but after a while, I gave up on it. I laughed once it got to naked Raiden cartwheeling, and when the President checked to see if he was a eunuch. That guy's genital area just can't catch a break!

Joe:  The dog tags are brutal, Im not even gonna try for all of them. Im probably going to move on to the next MG game, I just havent decided which one I want to play.  The crotch grab happened in MGS3 also....what's up with that Hideo?

There's also that statue Snake blends into in MGS4.... never played 3 or 4 myself, but have watched others play the opening scene with Snake's hand over a statues crotch. Seriously, what is up with that? lol

Hey GH, what do you think about MGS 5: The Phantom Pain? Do you think that that will convince you to buy a PS4?

MGS5:  Im on a complete Blackout of news. update, info, opinion or anything  MGS5 related because I made the mistake of reading an article of MGS4 in a popular magazine before MGS4 was released and it ruined a very important secret that I did not know and I would have been pleasantly taken by suprise was I able to play the game by myself without reading that spoiler. In other words the magazine article spoiled tyhe game for me, so I do not read anything related to any MGS to be released.....whew!

I think that it took me ten hours to get off the tanker.

You were the first person I thought of after hearing about MGSV coming. I figured you would be pretty excited,I know I am. Hideo Kojima at the helm is all the data I need on that  one. The game you just finished is a testament to his genius.

Wayde:  I am definetly interested seeing Hideo on board, time will tell if it merits buying a PS4....but Im sure it will.

Aaron:  No, go read the comments between me and Joe. In just about every modern MGS game, Hideo has some kind of homophopic reference?  He usually has one character grab the crotch of another character,  This happens in MGS2 and MGS3 and in MGS 4 Snake breaks the private part off a statue.

Yeah. It seems like there is a lot of weird stuff in MGS games. A trophy called Snake Beater though? I had to do a double take when I read the description for it.

Aaron:  The best part of earning the trophy is when Otacon calls Snake on the codec and the look on snake's Face.....Priceless!

Well Im glad to see ur making progress on your snake games for this year, Im still not even a dent into the resident evil series for mine,lol! Sounds like you still have a lot to do though so maybe I can catch up!

Nicole:  Yes, that's three games so far and I should slow down, I want to play the ps1 version of MGS around Nov-Dec. at the rate Im going I will be through by July!

Yeah, lots of content. To me though, I don't care about the VR missions. I get my fun out of the campaign. I have the collectors editon of that HD version of MGS2 and 3 but I haven't even got around to playing either of them. Who knows when...

Monty:  500 missions is a bit much,  I would have welcomed it back in the day when I didnt have such a huge backlog, However, for me the campagin was long enough to statisfy, it actually coul've been a few hours shorter, but there is a lot, and I mean a lot of story to tell in the game...ahahah
