Retro Rampage Season Finale: Milon's Secret Castle

This is it! The last episode until the next season starts (hopefully in a few weeks), and boy is it a doozy - Milon's Gaping Asshole Secret Castle. The notoriously difficult and convoluted Hudson game featuring a little elf-like douche-waffle named Milon who shoots bubbles at an odd angle, has terrible inertia, and has to battle his way through hordes of goofy enemies in a castle filled with more trap doors and secret walls than even Dracula could come up with for even the most obnoxious Castlevania. Yet still, we actually kind of enjoy this game.

So we present to you with great delight/sorrow, Episode 30: Milon's Secret Castle.

I played this beast of a hard game when it released all I can say is that im glad i subscribed to nintendo power at the time lol!!!.

Seriously, you fucking NEEDED that NP if you wanted to even get anywhere - Joey's got the game down to a science. He beat Milon's Secret Castle twice in one WEEK one time. Not enough Excedrin in the world.

wow thats amazing i was so aggrivated the only other game that stressed me worse then Milons secret castle was Maniac Mansion lol.

I loved Milon's Secret Castle as a kid and yes I did beat it. I'm glad that Hudson released the Japan-only sequel on Wii Virtual Console in the US. I only wish we got the Milon puzzle game on DS.

I haven't seen the Milon puzzle game, I'll have to check it out! It's strange how that series just didn't really last in the United States, but then again, looking at how difficult the NES game is, it's not too surprising.

Hahahaha, the game is worth a try, but make sure you buy yourself something for tension headaches.

Ya know Brian... I think our stock in Excedrin rose 14 points after we released this video.
