2017 Video Game Resolution

Hello Pixlbit: I want to post my New Year's Video Game Resolution today.

I say video game because I have quite a few New Year's Resolution but I'm just posting the one that is video game related.

The plan is to play the complete Metal Gear series. Or, the ones that I own.

And I don't mean Im going to play Metal Gear Solid 2 four times(which is how many I own) I mean the complete story line series. The photo is just a reference of what I own.

I played Metal Gear Solid three times this year ( the most recent was a few weeks ago) So I might replay that game next year or skip that one and play MGS The Twin Snakes instead, or maybe even play them both!

Also, I may not play them in Chronological order. Since I just finished MGS I may decide to start off with MGS2. Which is probably what Im going to do.

Anyway, I have a day and a half to decide. This should be the easiest New Years Resolution I have ever made.( I Hope!)

Sounds fun. I wish I could stick to one series. I'm thinking about playing the Borderlands games again, but that won't stop me from playing others too.

If I was hardcore I'd resolve to play all the Final Fantasies I had, but.... that's not gonna happen!!! :p

Matt: The most challenging part of all this will be MGSV: TPP. My first play through of MGS V: TPP was 225 hours and I didnt even finish it!

I actually might make a resolution for next year that i am gonna aim to beat atleast 1 game a month. I have the backlog for it and several releases I'll be picking up next year.

I have only ever played 1 and 2 the whole way through, and the Ground Zeroes demo. I really want to play 3. If Sony puts MGS3 in their PS2 games on PS4 catalog, I'll get it. I'm not paying for a PS Now subscription, the fact it relies on Intenet is too unreliable.

Joe: MGS 3 is an awesome game. It ranks almost beside my favorite, MGS1 on the playstation.

You got your work cut out for you. Beat MGS1-5 but that was over a span of like ten years. And you got more games than that.

Halo: you're right. Peace Walker alone is a long game, one that I played for hours and never finished. I put 225 hours into MGSV and never finished it. Yeah, I have my work cut out for me

I'm late to reading everyone's blogs but HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2017 should be fun with all that Metal Gear. The Playstation game will always have a special place because of one time I was playing it with my friends I think it just got released, and we couldn't find the codec until we tried the one on the back of the case and when it worked we thought it was the coolest thing.
