My Top 10 Games of E3

I'm only going to stick with games here, no PS4 included. But there will be some PS4 games making it on here. Some of these are based on surprise factor while others are further adding to my excitement. There are some games such as Wind Waker HD or Rayman Legends, which while I'm excited for, will not make an appearance because E3 did nothing to further this. It is saved for the games that really got me stoked to play them during this week.

10.Super Mario 3D World

I am a little disappointed how similar this is to 3D Land, but I still loved 3D Land and am sure I will love this. Taking SMB2's different characters is an awesome idea and I hope leads to 4 player co-op. Plus a cat suit. That's just adorable.

9. The Wonderful 101

I had known this game existed and planned to look up info at some point before it released. With my recent Wii U acquisition and Nintendo showing it off, the game looks like an absurd amount of fun. Action and strategy looks like a bizarre mix in a good way and convinced me to pick this up over Pikmin 3.

8. Titanfall

This is assuming that the 360 version will not be compromised as there is no way I am buying an Xbox One. If it is though, jetpacks, parkour, and mechs are all things which I very much enjoy in games and to see them all together is something which really excites me. Hoping for the best here. And if not...well it's published by EA. You really think it will stay Xbox exclusive?

7. X

Can someone please explain to me why more people aren't talking about this? I am very confused as to why more people aren't talking about this.

6. Bayonetta 2

While I'm more of a fan of her old look, I do really like Bayonetta's new look and am a huge fan of both the character and the gameplay. Looking forward to playing more of this.

5. Mirror's Edge 2

Funny story, this is actually the first E3 in years where I didn't put something on how I wanted DICE to be making this game before the show. While the open world design is...troubling as well as a fear it will focus on action, I am holding out hope that this will deliver on some great platforming goodness.

4. Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain

I'm a little skeptical on whether the stealth will end up being too tedious in an open world, but at the same time. Hot damn this looks great.

3. Pokemon X and Y

I was very happy with all of the new Pokemon released, the roster so far is looking much stronger than both Diamond/Pearl and Black/White. The new Fairy type is also very interesting, will probably write something on that once a full list of weaknesses and resistances are revealed. The one shown is my favorite revealed during this week.

2. Star Wars Battlefront 3

It exists. It will be made by DICE. I will play the shit out of it when it comes out. Happy Greenman is happy.

1. Destiny

Bungie's next big thing just looks incredible. The battlefields look just as epic as Halo, but at the same time the world they're putting it in just looks so incredible. It is my most anticipated game right now.

Honorable mentions:

Final Fantasy XV

Super Smash Bros 4

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare (not kidding)

I'm excited for Bayonetta 2 and I don't even own a Wii U. (Yet.) lol.

Bayonetta 2 was not the reason I bought a Wii U but it's certainly a very nice perk.

Yeah, I feel like more should be getting said about X, looks beatiful.

I loved the size of Xenoblade so I am very excited to see what they can do with more power.

I plan to finish and post my E3 blog over the weekend, and I hope you can take the time to read it then, too!

I'll be sure to check it out. I like your E3 blogs because they always show me something cool I didn't even know existed

With the exception of Pokemon, my Top 5 would be similar to yours, with the order switched around. And I actually never stumbled into that trailer of X until you posted it. Very few sites seem to be giving that one coverage.

I also read a news story not too long ago confirming Mirror's Edge 2 will be more action-focused. That's somewhat troubling, but I'm too happy the game is being made to really care right now.

mot liking that about Mirror's Edge 2. Hope it's what I wanted the Tomb Raider reboot to be and not like the actual TR reboot

I would probably replace pokemon with the order:  1886, otherwise I agree with your list.

The Order's a cool idea but I need some gameplay before I can judge it

*sigh* Bayonetta looks so hot. I'm a sucker for glasses. Cool It will definitely be on my list. As far as my favorite game of E3, look at my blog. Laughing

I thought she was hotter before though. Looked a lot like sarah Palin. Say what you want about her, she was one hot politician.

X just might sell me a Wii U although truth be told I'd already have one if not for financial constraints. :)

Might be best to wait for a price drop anyway

the future of the Wii U does look a lot brighter.  I really want X.

It does look a lot better now.

Bayonetta 2 could very well lead me to buy a Wii U, just like project spark is really tempting me to own an Xbone.

Casey Curran Staff Writer

Project Spark is a really cool idea but the only thing that can convince me to get an xbone is if they start treating customers with respect

Yeah, that's the biggest concern right now. I don't really care so much what they're doing. I mean it sucks and all, but it could be bareable if Microsoft weren't acting like such massive twats.

Still, console generations are quite long and they could turn it around by the end. I mean look at PS3 last year. It had a DREADFUL launch, nowhere near as bad as this one, but it was still not great. Look how much they turned that one around?

Final Fantasy XV and Bayonetta 2 were my favorite games from E3. However, I am indeed excited about X, and expect to be moreso when Nintendo shows more of it. X looks like it's taking a lot of cues from Xenogears and I'm lovin' it.

I am little down on 3D World's perspective, but the cat suit and Princess Peach being in it are pretty rad.

On games I-don't-know-if-i'll-play-but-look-cool, Final Fantasy XV, MG5 and InFamous Second Son were the ones I found interesting. On games I could play, pretty much the whole Wii U library, but specially Smash Bros 4, Super Mario 3D World and Sonic: Lost World.

So nintendo has learned how they almost missed the boat with Xenoblade Chronicles and are actually going to push forward with this "X" project.

Glad to see some learn their lessons. Now give us more info!
