Both of these Pokemon evolve from one of the game's three starters. So I have to ask you, which is the worse evolution: Quilladin or Pignite?
If you're severely RG color-blind, and you just glance at the two, they look even more similar. I'm not that bad off, mind you, but it's a pretty funny thing to think about.
Yeah. Think Quilladin is worse overall though. But it is a really, really tough call.
This is why I hated pokemon white.
At least White had a perfectly good evolution line with grass and just one dud who evolved into two Pokemon with water. Hopefully Quilladin is the only dud in X/Y.
After years and years of creative pokemon designs, they now have to scrap the bottom of the barrel... Or the bottom bottom... Things have been questionable since Diamond and Pearl.
Actually for the most part X and Y designs have been great so far. Quilladin is actually the first one I disliked. Every generation's had its duds also. 1st had Jynx and Mr. Mime, second had Sunkern, Sunflora, and Dunsparce, 3rd gen had way too many inferior clones and Luvdisc. 6th actually looks to be the best bunch since the first gen. I mean, just look at Pancham

Quilladin is of a simpler design compared to Pignite, I think.
Yah, but not sure if that saves it. God they're both so bad.
For me, it's isn't that they look bad, but is the fact that Quilladin looks goofier than Pignite. Kinda off topic, but have the other evolutions of Gen 6 starters appeared yet?
