Yes, a Doom movie already exists and it isn't very good but with this tense orchestral remix you can close your eyes and imagine one that is. The strings are the heart of this piece, though there are some nice piano percussion contributions too. In fact, the piano takes up a dirgeful melody at the end and you wonder if perhaps you made it out...but the demons get you in the end. This is Doom, after all.

I still have a vivid memory of wandering around one of the Doom levels and having the music just creep me out so much that my hands started shaking. Oculus Rift got nothing on Doom and its music.

Despite me playing Rob Zombie tunes when I play this game, i wouldn't mind having this play in the background in place or the original tune to this remix! I wonder if this would even work in the Doom 3. Now you've got me curious in trying this out while I play Doom 64!
