Hey, Day two! I can't remember the last time I sat in front of my PC two days in a row to write something. Hopefully this BaD month will help me get back into the writing groove. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to write about today, and had planned to focus on why my output ground to a halt. Something happened today that I wanted to talk about first.

Yeah, so here I am, probably biting off WAY more than I can chew right now. Considering that my last blog post was October os 2014, and I haven't written a review in so long that I can't even remember what game it was for. I should probably check that. Be right back.

We’re taking video games discussion back. There has been way too much anger, negativity, finger pointing, and plenty of other things in recent months that have diverted a majority of us away from why we’re all on this here website: vidya games!

Let’s have some real talk, shall we?

First off, huge apologies for the lateness of this blog. I really should have done it the same night as the post about the 50^th episode of NWP. But that’s old news. I’m all about episode 51 of NWP now.

As I sit here writing this, I’m in shock and a little stunned. We just released the 50^th episode of Nerds Without Pants, and I can’t believe we’ve come this far. I’m kind of known for my self-deprecating nature, and anyone who’s ever listened to the show can attest to this. With that said, I’d like to take a little time to toot our own horn, thank some people, and point out my ten favorite episodes we’ve done so far.

Hey there, PixlBits! So, we've had a lot of unique episodes of Nerds Without Pants lately, but it's time to get back to our regular format. If you're not a regular listener to the show, that would be the opening Consumption Junction segment where we talk about whatever geeky media we've consumed, and then a core topic that's related to gaming in some way.

If you’ve been paying attention to our music podcast Digital Mystery Tour, you’ve noticed a theme. This month it’s all about battle music, in all of its myriad forms and styles. JD kicked things off with some modern JRPGs (they’re classics to him, because he’s just a young-in), and I am following it up with some more varied and off the wall selections. Angelo has some great choices for week three, as well.

It's a strange thing, mourning for someone that you don't know. When celebrities die, it never really affects me, apart from being sad that so and so won't be able to contribute more of his or her talents anymore. Maybe that's a cold way of looking at it, but I have a difficult enough time making connections to people I actually know to spend a  lot of time feeling sad because an actor or singer died.

So, my PS3 is an odd duck. I own the Metal Gear Solid 4 limited edition console. It was the first PS3 to come bundled with the Dual Shock 3, and it's gunmetal gray and of course it came with MGS 4 limited edition (which has since been signed by one of the major MGS composers, Norihiko Hibino).
