I agree with this, and for the most part this is how I approach trophy hunting after I finish the game. I don't know what it is with Mad Max, looking for scraps is repetitive but I enjoy it.
That's funny you say that, because I actually prefer the Grammy's to the Oscars. Maybe its because I buy more music than tickets to check out whatever is playing at the swanky theater. I see the Oscars falling short when it comes to awarding merit. It always seems they want to push more of the artsy flicks for their award. Grammy's do seem to push how many units of an album gets sold. I liked Taylor Swift's 1989 but damn I don't think it was as good as the voting folks thought it was.
I seem to stick to the music awards shows now (Grammy's and the country one where Carrie Underwood is a host). I think Gaga and LL Cool J are involved with every awards show now.

I think I am going to stop short of the Platinum (this could change), it all depends on do I really want to sit there and race each Magum Opus if/when I finish the game.

I saw this and I thought about it, and almost pulled the card out. I need to stick to my finishing games off before buying new ones resolution but that deal is mighty tempting.
I never thought about looking for the power discs at GameStop. I should check my local stores and stock up on them.
I don't know if you have DI 3.0 but if you have the Target Cartwheel App, they are having a 40% off on the 3.0 figures. I think there may be one day left on the deal but if you need any of those characters 40% isn't bad.
