I think it was overhyped for being a Wii exclusive and doesn't have that interesting of mechanics, but it's still mostly fun. The open world is blah, but the combat is satisfying and the style is amazing. 2 is overall better though.

Sif is an excellent choice. There's mostly no wrong choice for a Dark Souls boss, just that there needs to be a Souls boss on a list like this.
Glados was neat, but not that fun a fight replaying. Compared to these others which I'd love to fight over and over.
Portal I felt was mostly memorable for story reasons rather than interesting bosses. As for the Nintendo ones, Galaxy 2's was just serviceable, Taboo felt annoying, every DKC Returns boss was awful in my mind, but Twilight Princess had a pretty great final battle. Though I like the double hookshot and spinner bosses more.
Arkham City's a good game, but not as great as the original. Open world doesn't really work, story's a bit too unfocused, and stealth areas aren't as well designed. But the combat and stealth are still really fun and it has one of the best boss fights I've ever played in a game.
It's not adding for me. Weird. A sign I should wait I guess.
I feel like playing games, but there's nothing that interesting to talk about right now
Rayman Legends is probably the best one in recent memory.
Civ: Beyond Earth
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Captain Toad
The Stanley Parable
Any mainline Pokemon
Five Nights at Freddy's
Broken Age
Batman games
Stealth Inc/Stealth Bastard
Grow Home
Tearaway
Ace Attorney
Splatoon may also fit the bill since you're not shooting other people, but everything around them. Also, Infamous is basically a shooter, just with powers instead of a gun. Your powers pretty much amount to different guns, rocket launchers, and grenades.
I think the whole Avengers stuff has been blown out of proportion, both what you mentioned and that prima nocta joke. Like it's so hard to believe a drunk guy always trying to be hilarious would say something like that without meaning it. But pretty much agree with your opinion on the movie.
Congrats on the N3DS. I was considering getting one but got an XB1 instead. Wanna see what Nintendo has planned with the thing before I take the plunge.
