With his green color and those ears, Zool looks like a goblin ninja, which sounds like a very interesting concept to explore. Imagine a Castlevania or Ghosts 'n Goblins world but with a ninja protagonaist. That would have been cool.
I love the idea of putting a sports game into a specific historical period. Why hasn't this been done more?

I remember hearing that you can't get the best ending without playing co-op. I wish we'd had this game when I was a kid.

It had a fancy cabinet and good graphics for the time. There's really no reason to recommend it now.
