A Lil' Update

Posted on 04/07/2013 at 02:14 AM | Filed Under Blogs

You certainly have been busy. I look forward to your blog on DmC as I'm curious to hear more on your thoughts about that despite quizzing you a bit on it already. I also got a kick out of Hot Shots Golf on the Vita. I wish I made more time for it. I should pick it back up.

Changes to my Blogs

Haha... good stuff. I'm excited for that Twinsanity blog. I loved the AC3 ones.

NCAA Tournament, What I'm Playing, And Pickups!

My West region is a mess! I did pick Ohio State to come out of it, so I have that still. I hear the Quinjet is a great Lego build.

MIA March Madness: Round 1 [UPDATE: VOTING CLOSED!]

Fun stuff! I love these kind of odd March Madness type brackets. I wish I had played more of these games.

Different Types of DLC

Posted on 03/25/2013 at 03:24 AM | Filed Under Blogs

A lot of times, I really enjoy the standard DLC. A reason to revisit a game I really enjoyed again some time after is something I'm usually interested in if it is quality. Sure in some cases it can be looked at as something that could have been in the game to begin with, but I understand how release schedules and budgets don't always allow for it. The Mirror's Edge DLC maps were ones I definitely liked a lot. I'd add in the first Tomb Raider Underworld DLC Beneath the Ashes (which is my second favorite level from that game) and the Alan Wake ones. Of course, sometimes the DLC is garbage, but I've had some great experiences I may have never gotten if it weren't for DLC.

Greg Bear's Halo: Silentium Novel is Mine, All Mine!

I've only recently gotten back into reading post-schooling (school made it feel a little like work if that makes sense). Now I really enjoy reading though. I may have to check some of these out. What would advise starting with out of these? I've played 1-3, ODST and Reach and recently started 4 if that makes any difference.

Them New Features

Great work though a mess delete or something like Greenman mentioned would be helpful. Awesome job with the new stuff though.

Improving on the Great Tomb Raider

Posted on 03/20/2013 at 11:19 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I totally agree with what you are saying. I wrote a blog about this exact topic (cheap plug). Here is a summary though:

-More Challenging Platforming and More Moves
-Bigger and Better Tombs and Puzzles
-Swimming and the Swan Dive
-The Grapple
-Gymnastics
-Croft Manor

I agree about supernatural stuff too. There kind of is that here I guess, but it feels like a reskin of the normal enemies. Supernatural enemies would have been a good way to add some variety to the combat.

Random Monday...With Lego

Haha... love the Legos as always. I made a Robin Hood MOC at some point and intended to post pics, but then the 1up thing happened. Any upcoming sets you are eyeing? Or do you just go for the good deals long after release?

5 Characters I Would Rather Play As Than Baird

I know I hate Nix more than Baird, but you make a good point. At least she has super powers. Fun blog.
