Is Spectral Force 3 really as bad as the reveiws would let you beleive? again this is reveiwers downgrading a game they no nothing about. I know im always ranting on the reveiwers of games after all there only opinions, but really they and by they i mean IGN,Gamespot well you get what im saying, they exagerate so much its rediculous, anyway enough about that.

Spectral Force 3 is like the previous ps2 titles, it takes place in the fantasy world of Neverland and deals with the first Neverland war, it is the first entry in the series to be released in the west, with Atlus securing publishing rights in north America, and a interesting fact is most people who have played or have this game did not know it was called Innocent Rage,

Spectral force 3 features a number of gameplay similarties to other games like Suikoden and Fire Emblem, the game is Developed by Idea Factory,XPEC Entertainment, and published by Atlus, Gameplay is essentially a series of tactical battles broken up by opportunities to improve equipment and converse with members of the team. Although there are missions which must be completed to advance the plot, the player is also free to pursue a number of contracts for any of the ten warring factions in the game.

Doing so increases the level of freindship with that faction, while decreasing the level of any faction at war with the faction you did the contract for. While the player completes contracts, the war rages on around, with each faction trying to seize territory from rivals, after certain missions or game events entire factions can be wiped from the map. Combat uses a turn based system and takes place on a map devided into squares, although the grid only shows while moving. you can bring up to six other party members into battle, while the enemy will have significantly way more then you,on each charaters turn he or she can perform a limited  number of actions based on available action points or Ap, moving consumes points along with actions and attacks, you get what i mean.

spectral Forcw 3 has a huge cast of recruitable characters 40 in all, and has over a 150 missions the game really is a good game, yes it has issues but what game doesnt you have graphics that looks more like a ps2,and the acting can be questionable at times and some miner typos etc but deffinetly no deal breakers, and its made by the same crew that did Operation Darkness and we all know reveiwers beat that game up to.

But once again im here to say if you like srpgs then you will like this, and again dont beleive everything you read, or you will miss games like this that are actually fun.

Theres alot more right in this game then wrong,I find it disturbing that theres so many people out there that absolutely has no idea what an srpg really is,7 out of 10 people think srpgs are rts games and it really is sad after all rpgs and srpgs used to have alot more people following these kinds of game, and like alot of the reveiws on this game, because the graphics are not like The Kingdom of Amular the game sucks or because its turn based it sucks, the bottom line is if your not an srpg or rpg fan then keep your reveiws to yourself.

I have both Operation Darkness and Spectral Force 3 on my list to buy. I know Operation Darkness has some issues because I played the demo, but I just have to have the only game that approaches the gameplay of Valkyria Chronicles on Xbox. As for Spectral Force 3. SRPG means that I want it.

A friend of mine always tells me to get this game. I thought it was on the OG Xbox! Anyway, I'm a nut for tactical RPGs, so I want to try it, but it keeps slipping my mind.

I picked up Spectral Force Genesis for the DS a few years ago, and it might just be the worst game I own. It's not like these though, it's more of a war sim. I couldn't get through the first 20 minutes.

well if you played the older spectral force games they are better then them Operation Darkness is an awesome game i absolutely loved it and im having a blast with spectral force 3 the graphics are more ps2 but really dont hurt  the game Im a huge fan of atlus and there games are always good the only exception being the cursed crusade and even that one wasnt bad it was just very linear and was a very strange game.
