I finished the witcher 2 yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I am taking a break and playing through the campaign of halo 4.  I need to cleanse my palate before i return and play through Iorvoth's path in the witcher 2.

Now that I have finished it, I am even more excited for the witcher 3:  the wild hunt.  The only problem is that it will be next-gen and I will have to get a new console.  At this point, I will probably go with sony for the next-gen.  That may change when microsoft finally officially announces thier console, but i doubt it.  I like halo a lot, but i do not play it online often enough to justify getting a brand new console just for one series.

I'm still in the mindset of waiting until the systems have all been out long enough I can make an informed judgment call. I hope I don't wind up skipping this generation too, but I'm definitely waiting a bit past launch to make a decision on anything.

The Witcher 2 is a great game.  I finished it a couple months ago.  I want to play through it again, but I have some other games to get on first.  I bought The Witcher (PC) not long ago.  Hopefully I can get to it soon.  I am excited to hear The Witcher 3 will release on a console.  I'll probably preorder it, but I doubt I'll get a PS4 anytime soon.

i picked up the first witcher during a steam sale a while back.  never even installed it.  i want to put together a pc to hook up to the tv.  then i figure i will play more of the 100+ steam games that I have amassed over the past year.

The Witcher 2 is a great game, and should CD Projekt pour the same labor and love in the third entry, we will have an awesome game.

Unfortunately, my PC isn't up to the task of running The Witcher. For now my only solace is reading the books. If you enjoyed the game story and the reading type, I definitely recommend it :)

if only did not have a massive stack of books that I am trying to work through.  I have a pile of novels including the wise man's fear, dune, the wheel of ice, shada, counter-clock world, the stars my destination, and a bunch of doctor who books from the classic era.  I will look into them though.

I've been meaning to read Dune for a few months. Probably will and then start on the rest of those books. Want to start on Stephen King's Dark Tower series as well. As far as the next gen systems go I'll be getting both. But just PS3 at Christmas time. Then the new one from Microsoft with tax return money in February. I'm such a sucker for new shiny systems. I don't want to miss out on all the great games. The Witcher 2 is one game I must try. looks like a world I would lose myself in.

Dune is a reread.  I read it a while back, but now that I am older and wiser I should get so much more out of it

I'm more interested in the Cyberpunk game CDPR is working on myself. Might turn out to be smoke and mirrors, but we'll see.

I was more excited about cyberpunk, then I played witcher 2.  Since witcher 3 is coming before cyberpunk I am more excited for that.

I played some of Witcher II on my pc but after a certain point my specs just couldn't handle that beast! I'll be buying it again soon for the 360.

I hope you do, and I hope you enjoy it.  I let a guy from work borrow my copy because I know that it is his kind of game.
