WOW! I haven't posted in nearly a month!

I don't think I've ever gone this long without posting a blog or anything. I haven't really been playing or watching much television lately. The only game I really put a lot of hours into was 'Witch and the Hundred Knight' which is an anime Diablo clone on PS4. Its pretty colorful, but grindy as fuck. There's a demo out on PSN, but honestly its the type of game that gets better after tons of hours played since you are more powered up and have different abilities to use. The story is quite dark, considering the art style. It looks like a Disgaea game, but the main character is really foul mouthed and cruel. Pretty dark stuff. I was a little shocked by the subject matter actually.

I also started playing Monster Monpiece, which is a collectible card game on PSVita. It was on sale for $2, and it's quite fun. It feels more like an iOS game, but I like playing a few rounds here and there when I get a break. Card battle take places on a grid with little anime characters chargeing towards each other, trying to destroy the other sides headquarters. It looks pretty good. I like it alot.

I didn't know about the pervy girl touching minigame until after I purchased the game. I swear!

Ya. Thats it. I haven't been playing many games, and it seems all the excitement for games revolves around a new Nintendo System and VR, which isnt that exciting to be honest. I really don't want to buy more stuff to play my games. I do read your classic game reviews and enjoy them, but don't always have time to comment. I was recently playing Fire Emblem for SNES on 3DS and its pretty good. Are you using emulators or original hardware?

I use the original hardware where possible. Or they'll be digital downloads (PlayStation Store, Virtual Console, etc.). I only use emulators to capture screenshots. It's much easier than searching google for shots, especially if I want to capture a particular scene or action.

That's understandable. I actually played on just for the story. It's such an odd story. It looks pretty too. It's also a bit like a roguelike.

I did a lot of laughing while watching that video. Can't complain when a game is fun to play and only costs a couple of bucks.

I've always been sort of curious about this game, but knowing my attention span I don't think it's for me. Cool you've been enjoying it though. Sometimes those quirky titles are really refreshing.

Which game? 'Witch' is basically Diablo. Monster Monpiece has bite sized missions, more like a mobile game really. I love artwork design and visuals, what can I say?
