FinalFantasy XV is basically Kingdom Hearts...hmm...

Well this is exactly what it looked like to me, without having played Episode Duscae, or the first full Demo. After playing the new 'Platinum' demo, it basically plays and feels like KH. Not sure how I feel about this. I like KH, but not sure I wanted FF to turn into KH. The game sure looks very pretty, but I found the combat to be confusing. I need to replay the demo some more I guess. It looks perty tho.

I saw the first episode of the FFXV anime and enjoyed it too. Didn't know the empire soldiers were robots? Looks like its the machine/tech empire vs crystal magic story once again. No issue with that.

The CG movie looks good too. Its FF7 sequel all over again. Give me more! Give me more!

Also, saw Dawn of Justice and liked it. I didn't like Man of Steel, but I enjoyed this one a lot more. Go figure?

I have very low expectations for FF XV and probably won't even play it. Then again I don't have a PS4 so that makes the decision easier

Its a very nice looking and polished game. It just feels radically different from previous FF games, or in other words its a new final fantasy game with a new mechanic to get used to, like every new FF game.

I just finished it. Had a whimsical quality I thought would be missing from the game. The combat versus the basic enemies was pretty boring, but the boss was nice with the magic and warping up into the hanging lights and then warp attacking him. That was interesting.

I liked the demo overall, it was very nice.

The kid stuff does give it a KH, fun whimsical tone. Those magic spells are quite awesome. It's hard to judge the whole game from just one 30 min demo really. But it is KH.

I haven't been interested in a new FF game since FF9. Which is weird since when I was in high school, I was all about FF6 and FF4.

Those are all really highly acclaimed games actually. Everything after 10 seemed to make radical changes to combat, well X-2-12-13-15 anyhow.

I havent played the new demo yet, Its in my download cache, However I did play the first demo and highly enjoy it. I dont know what all has changed between the 2 yet but the combat style in the first one was very KH style. It doesnt bother me though, I overall enjoy that system alot more and I would rather they use it than the bullshit from FF13.
