Lesbi-honest!

I have a ton of games installed on PC and I feel hesitant to start any of them. I think maybe I'll write more blogs to make it worth while. By the way, did I ever talk about the Lesbian Love story in Nights of Azure? I feel like that is worth a blog at least since it is very rare to see that subject done so well in a video game. I mean there is a lot of sleazy hentai stuff in games, but rarely treat girl-girl relations as anything more than smut. Don't get me wrong creeps. I've gone down this path before and don't give a fuck if games are smutty, but it's nice to see a respectful approach to this for once at least. It was surprising and refreshing to say the least. You can't opt out of the story either, its the basis for the whole game. Unlike games that give you the option for that sort of thing, and allow you to avoid for fear your eyes will bleed or whatever--Azure is unnavoidingly built around it. Lap it up folks! Thats pretty daring, especially during a time in gaming where adding characters with different backgrounds makes the internet implode. Yes, I'm talking about the tranny in Baldurs Gate.

How many Rondos?

...I was listening to Retronauts recently, and they were talking about Rondo of Blood, the Castlevania game, and I didn't know that there were two very different versions of it in existance. Basically, the game that was released on PSP was a stupified, dumb down version of the original for Americans. The original  on PC Engine had extra charactes and branching paths like a souls game. I have the original game on Wii Virtual Console and the PSP UMD disc, but never knew they were different. I'm firing up WiiU and Virtual Console and replaying it to see for myself. I love Retronauts for things like this! I might have misunderstood what they said, but fuck it! I'm playing it again anyway.

Games...
I've got AXIOM VERGE on PSVITA, so lets see what the hype was about.

ENTER THE GUNGEON- this was fun but meh shooters...I prefer Binding of Isaac for the creepiness .
LIFE IS STRANGE- need to finish this game. Only played CH1.
MOMODORA-  a 2D souls-like game with sprites. It's really hard!
GAME OF THRONES- I got bored with the Lannister stuff. Need to finish
SAMOROST 3-  what the fuck is this?
FINAL FANTASY 9 HD PC- this game looks quite lovely. I wanted an HD version of this for quite some time.

NIOH demo--because whatsacow is like a useful message from a souls game.
and thats all for now...

Momodora is great. I just wrote a blog about it at destructoid. Might repost it here, but honestly it feels like no one would read it.

Axiom Verge is also quite good, since Nintendo won't make another Metroid game...

The PSP remake is the best game on PSP because you unlock Symphony of the Night.

Momodora is pretty good. Not sure how I missed it the first time around honestly?

I was waiting for Axiom to release on WiiU so I can play on the gamepad, but the VITA will do just fine.

I already have SotN on PSN. The PSP game is fantastic though.

That may be true, there is a chance that nobody will read it, but those three games sound awesome...

I want to read it. First I've heard of this game.

I heard there was something surprising in Nights of Azure.

The PSP Rondo of Blood does not include the dumbed down American version. I started playing the remake last year, unlocked the original Rondo and then just played all the way through that. It's great!

Does PSP Rondo include the (JP) version of Rondo? Because the JP version is the original. The Virtual Console one is the (JP) one. Interesting.

I think it's cool to find another PixlBitter playing Nights of Azure. I'm really enjoying that game myself. I like Gust's games in general, but Nights of Azure has been surprisingly engaging. I'm glad that it's avoiding all the BS that seems to plague more controversial releases nowadays.

The thing I like about the game is its breezy pacing. It just gets out of the way and lets you get to the action. I've praised Gust games in the past, and honestly I've enjoyed all the ones I've tried, in particular the Aterlier games. I didn't know about the story until I was playing it, and it caught my by surprise. Its actually pretty touching. But Gust does a great job with stories in Ateleir games too. Looking forward to Aterlier Sophie.

That would be cool to read about your games installed on PC.I always find it interesting to read about what people play and their thoughts about the games. PC tends to have a lot more quirky games on it than the consoles.
