Well....it's been awhile. Quite literally a few years. Yikes.
I doubt anyone here remembers me at this point (lol), but I was revising my Google account and stumbled upon a link to one of my old Final Fantasy blogs on here. I can't remember exactly why I stopped blogging, I started here at 17 years old and I'm now 21. But looking back at my old ramblings is....comical, to say the least.
ANYWAYS, for those who don't know, I used to post about Final Fantasy pretty much constantly, as I am a big fan of the series (disregarding the Final Fantasy VIII hate blogs I used to publish on 1UP LOL). So I felt it's only right that I come back and at least give my final verdict on Final Fantasy XV, which is: I love it. Every bit of it. Even Chapter 13, AS IS. I've earned the platinum trophy, caught most of the fish, discovered all the recipes, completed all the secret dungeons (that I know of), etc.
As strange as it may sound to some people, it's very vindicating and wonderful for me to hear such positive things about this game. A game in a series I've loved since I was a child. I refuse to say the game is perfect, because as a lot of you probably know: it clearly is not. But it's one of those games where the good always outweighs the bad, and I'm so impressed and proud of what Square Enix was able to accomplish with seemingly all the cards stacked against them.
I don't know if I'll continue to blog after this, but I felt like I owed it to my past self to come back and pay at least a small tribute to the series that honestly changed my life.
Welcome back. It's good to hear from you again. We forget no one and we always leave a light on for prodigal members and doubly so for those who go all the way back to 1Up days.
I have XV but haven't put much time into yet. Been busy with DQ VII which I just finished and I'm now onto SMT IV Apocalypse with a bit of World of FF thrown in

21 is a nice age to be.
I'm not interested in FF15, but I sure did get into World of Final Fantasy. That's the FF game for me. I hope you get to try it, too!
Well welcome back and I do hope you stick around post more of your thoughts. FF isn't my type of game but I'm glad that you enjoy the series and willing to share your experiences.
