Couple of things.

Tera MMO on PS4

First off, I got into the Tera MMO beta on PS4. Its still beta, so I can't be too harsh on it, but the performance so far is very sluggish. Not sure if its my hardware or the game server, or the tanky class I chose, but the framerate is pretty bad. Also, settings for visuals arent very high and it doesn't look so hot. I had visuals on high on PC when I played it. The game doesn't feel as fast paced as it did originally. It was one of the first MMOs I tried that had more action combat rather than the slow turn-based cooldown system, although cooldowns are still there. I think Guild Wars 2 still feels faster and smoother than this, but I don't know. I like Tera a lot and if it's free and I can jump in any time then why not.

Warframe

So the latest update content for Warframe is a massive open world where you go on MMO-like fetch quests in a giant map. It's seriously very, very huge! It takes for ever to walk across it. I ran around with a squad raiding encampments and at one point fought a giant alien tree monster that looked straight out of a souls game. I guess it's closer to Destiny now, although the new giant map is just one place you keep going to for story missions so far. Like, there is a string of story quests with differect level restrictions, but you can visit it pretty quickly early on in the game. Honestly, this new feature alone is pretty amazing and worth checking out. I hope they keep adding more to this. It's a great way to freshen things up aside from the more repetative tasks of clearing out points on a map or grinding for ingredients, which is all still there.

Add me sharky_321 on psn if you want to play warframe or check out Tera when it comes out.

These free MMOs always interest me. I'll have to dive into one sometime, maybe Tera.
