Xbox One vrs PS4 whats really the difference

Ok. Y so really what are we talking. about difference wise between the two systems actually quite alot just look at this comparison chart.

So the Xbox one and the PS4 use extremely, similar CPUs, made by AMD. Both use an APU setup, which links together both CPU and GPU into one package. So the Xbox One is comparable to the Radeon HD 7000-series, 8GB DDR3 RAM vrs the PS4s Radeon HD 7000-series, 8GB GDDR5 RAM. So spec wise were looking at the same but with that said the two main draws that sets me away from the Xbox is the paying for used games and having to install them to your hard drive wich leaves me to think this might be a plan to sell more memory to consumers, cause you figure videos, music, xbox live arcade, updates, and used games, thats going to use up a ton of your HD, i really dont understand maybe if there were piracy issues, but there have been very little on Microsofts end. Well at least they better have alot of memory ports or able to upgrade the preexisting hard drive or will they sell bigger hard drives to insert into your Xbox One.

So at any rate the price for both will be about the same between $400 to $500 and the Xbox One will release two models one being the top end eddition at around $400 and a cheaper model at $299 and more then likely the difference will be the 299 model will have minimal flash storage. And now Sony has confirmed that the PS4 will use a Hard Drive, although exact orices and storage has yet to be revealed, and both systems are estimated to release 2013 in November.

I hope to get a PS4 before the hoarders do. I have this eerie feeling they will both launch on the exact same day in November.

When the Xbox One & PS4 has enough good games on it that I want to play, then I might be more interested.  I love my 360 and PS3, but even I didn't get them right away.  Only when they had enough games I wanted.

I'll be going with PS4, if anything at all. The reality of it all is that I could be finished with modern console gaming entirely. Whatup, retro imports?

Microsoft should just rename it the Sega CD 2 and start looking for coffins, this thing is already DOA.

I read that the Xbox One will not be user friendly to change harddrive wise. You either i guess send it in to microsoft and buy more another bigger harddrive from them to install or buy an external harddrive. PS4, im not sure harddrive wise but im still sticking of course to it. Im happy with how it is going and there is a good deal of games releasing i want for it.

Yea I agree they have some great names already they got Idea Factory,Shin Megami Tensei, NIS and hell thats reason enough for me to switch and by the way with the Xbox having that used game thing and you having to be connected every 24 hours theres nothing Microsoft can do except get rid of thoughs two things that would change my mind so as far as im concerned when they release i will be going with the ps4.

I doesn't matter what's more Powerful or less invasive.

Nintendo. Wins!

But seriously no Xbox 3 times in a row now. The presentation was poor as hell.

I'm sure folks will be camped out at Best Buy on day one for both. Not me,though. Learned my lesson the hard way on both last time around. Like you,I was far more impressed with the PS4 announcement. Price point will be a major factor,as well as price of games. Hopefully all will be revealed at E3. Interesting how similar the specs are on the two.

For the first time in now what seems like forever, I think I might sit back and watch this one develop for a while. Despite the info thats been put forward I can see this getting more and more confusing and whats more, as always, it'll be the consumer who makes the final decision on what any developer can get away with. Microsfot are trying to monoplise the gaming community in the same way Apple try to do so with their computers and i - whatevers. The best innovations are seldom started by just one company and I sincerely hope that the next 'big thing' works outside of Microsoft. The internet and cloud gaming will make piracey ever easier and I do wonder how companies like Microsoft who rely on pure download will justify the same costs for games as their overheads will be considerably cheaper. It's a shame because the hardcore gamer is no fool, but as the shift works towards nieve parents and 'brodudes' who continually pay for the latest gimmick, the savvy gamers voice becomes softer and eventually silenced altogether.

The systems are almost the exact same except Sony is not going to do the used game thing or the 24 hour internet deal and thats the edge sony has and ultimately will be Microsofts undoing now i may be wrong but i know for sure im not buying a system that dictates to me what i can and cant do the day that happens is the day i quit gaming, but for now im not going to get a next gen system im getting a ps3 when the price drops since theres a ton of games i want to play so a year or so maybe i will start looking at a new system till then letemhave at it.

I won't be going anywhere near the Xbox None so there is no competition here. If I indeed do buy something it will be a PS4 but even that remains to be seen.
