The game reveiws on Argarest Zero was quite different then the Argarest War Naughty Edition the thing is and the reveiwers are right on is that The Naughty Edition is huge and has five generationsand each generation is a rather big play through but with Argarest Zero it only has two generations around the same size as the generations in the Naughty edition and also the game is way more difficult then the Naughty Edition was

but is that a bad thing well, in my opinion the game does have alot of recycled material from the naughty edition but at the same time has a better dating sim quality then the naughty edition as well, and its also determined on how big a fan of the Argarest war you are. In my case im a fan so i got the collectors edition and i follow Argarest lore which i find very interesting and the generation idea is really a great concept and in the naughty edition was huge almost like five games in one with over 180 hours of gameplay vrs Zero,s 80 hours and the battle system is pretty much the same in both games and the other cool thing in Zero is the vacation days aspect essentially you get vacation days to spend in a town and characters are scattered through out the town and you visit them with a set number of places usually three so if your working on a relationship then visiting one of the ladys will increase you relationship or you could visit party members and receive clues to secret locations or weapons etc, this really is a great concept, so in my opinion Record of argarest War is a must buy and Zero on the other hand is nore for the fan of the series but the game is relatively cheap right now so that may be another incentive to get it.
