Watch Nintendo Direct and type at your own risk.

As I predicted correctly, I finished up A Link to the Past over the weekend.  My favourite thing about the game is entering the dungeons and collecting the item and moving onto the next.  After collecting all of the items I go back as a Super-Powered Link and am able to knock out all of the bosses in an hour or so.

I may have to see if I can get a Wii U at some point, because Super Mario 3D World looks awesome.  Yes, I have the Nintenod Direct up in another tab.  I am also excited for A Link Between Worlds.  I think that I have been playing through Zelda games in anticipation for the Link to the Past sequel.

I am still in a state of limbo and am unable to decide upon what game I will tackle next.  There is a copy of Etrian Odyssey Untold on its way and should arrive tomorrow, but I am not sure if I am feeling it yet.  I did see the bit about DKC Tropical Freeze on the Nintendo Direct and am haveing a desire to play the SNES DKC games.  We will see, I may just take a short break from videogames.  I have decided to power through Neuromancer because I do not want another half-finished book haunting my library.

I have been listening to the most recent Retronauts because they are talking about videogame music and it has been quite enjoyable....  Then somebody decides to shift the topic away from music for a couple of minutes and they talk about character voices.  It was such a downer, luckily they were able to get right back into the actually exciting stuff, music.

Bravely Default looks awesome.  I should probably stop watching the Nintendo Direct and just focus on typing.  I apparently cannot focus on typing, so I will give up here.

Kirby?

the thing about the zelda game being nonlinear with the items is very cool.

It is definitely a game that I will probably download.  I would want to have a copy with me everywhere I go.

I have to admit even with all my Nintendo hating lately, SM3DW does look pretty good.

I do not think that all of your Nintendo hate has been unjustified.  They seem to be making some questionable decisions.  If they keep releasing compelling software like SM3DW, I will be more willing to overlooks some of the problems.

A Link to the Past is one of my two favorite Zelda games.  The other is Ocarina of Time.  I preorder LttP sequel a couple weeks ago.  Can't wait to play it.  Recently, I bought Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS).  I plan to start it when I finish Shin Megami Tensei IV.

There was some great news in that Nintendo Direct.  But the best was at the end: a new 3DS Kirby game!  Yay!

A new classic looking Kirby.  I absolutely loved and sunk a ridiculous amount of time into Super Star Saga...  Or whatever that SNES collection was called.

Hey, I like character voices. But I do like music too, so I understand.

Your need to read Neuromancer reminds me I still have not finished Mockingjay. Probably all that reading and writing for my classes.

I was annoyed because it was somewhat off topic.  I would definitely listen to an episode about videogame voices.  I did read Hunger Games and enjoyed it, but have little desire to read the sequels.  I also felt like one of the few people who actually knew what race Rue was in the books.

I honestly thought she was white because of the comparison's to Katniss's little sister as well, but I was not at all bothered by the actress portraying her because 1) as you said, the book actually does detail her as darker skinned, I just tend to read fast when I do read fiction and forget certain details, and 2) she fit all of the character descriptions I actually cared at all about, like being a sweet, savvy young kid that might remind Katniss of her little sister.

The internet's response to it was disheartening.

It was a good movie and I know that my wife would like to see Catching Fire, so I am sure that we will end up seeing it whenever it comes out.

I'm still halfway through Retronauts. I was looking for a new podcast and I think I'll go with LaserTime because it has Chris Antista formerly of RadioRadar from GamesRadar, com. That was a funny show with Chris at the helm. It's still good, but I wonder what LaserTIme is like.

I have also been looking for more podcasts.  I decided to try Ray Barnholt's No More Whoppers, I found it entertaining.

I'm only a couple minutes into this week's Laser Time and it already feels like old TalkRadar (now RadioRadar) with three people from that show. I'm hooked.

Huh. Never thought to do that in A Link to the Past. Cool. I suppose that means you play most of the game with very few hearts?

I did a lot of exploring and collected nearly all of the pieces of heart by the time I had started on the bosses.

I think what made me excited for Super Mario 3d World is the fact that you can play as any other character other than Mario.
