"Wait, didn't I read this already?"

You might end up asking yourself that question with some of the Retro Rewind reviews coming up on PixlBit.  So I figured I should let everyone know that the few reviews I posted in my user blog will eventually show up on the front page.  At first, I didn’t plan on doing it because I thought it might be a waste of time for most of you that have read them already (doubly so if you were hanging out with my reviews back in the 1Up days).  I dunno...I’m always worried that re-posting things I previously wrote will annoy folks.

But I changed my mind when Nick asked me to post a review that is currently sitting in my user blog section.  He told me that it was “no sense in letting it go to waste”.  I could argue with that logic.  Plus, I would like to strengthen Pixlbit’s official archive of retro game reviews.  I really want give as much to place as possible.  I love Pixlbit and I want to share my thoughts with as many as possible.

Plus, the completionist in me go nuts if I reviewed a sequel to game on the front page without ever having posted one for the first game simply because I wrote it already in my blog before joining the staff.  But don’t worry -- I won’t be posting rehashed reviews back-to-back...at least I don’t intend to.  I’ll just pepper them in between other reviews.

Anyways, enjoy the rest of this week.  I’ll see you around! Laughing

Don't worry about it Jamie. I'll read them again anyways lol. I felt guilty about reposting my stuff from 1up too. Then I simply wanted to provide some kind of content here. It takes time to write those things.

I think it's great Jamie. This way some of your reviews will maybe reach a broader audience that never had the chance to read them earlier.

Yeah, I am hoping that these review will eventually show up in search results for search engines.  That would be super cool.

Post them! It'll be new to some folks, and for the folks who remember the reviews, something fun to read again, and learn something new that we might have missed the first time. Share your work,it will be appreciated by everyone here!

Dude, don't worry, there's no shame in re-posting your user reviews. They atract users who don't follow your blog, while like you said, it will expand the retro gaming reviews on the site.

It won't bother me.  I read so many reviews, I may not even notice.  I hope you're ok with getting the same comments twice. Laughing

Thanks man.  I've always wanted to be part of a writing staff for a website.  Just because I love writing about the old games we used to play.
