Where did PB & Jason go?

Guys. I listen to quite a few number of gaming podcasts and I have to say that PB & Jason, hosted right here on Pixlbit, is one of the best to listen to, considering it's just a one man show. So many podcasts nowadays are made of fanboys and PR for gaming companies, it's nice to get some current gaming news that cuts through all the bullshit. Listening to some of the older podcasts in the archive, you can tell there is a lot of work and planning that goes into making them, so it's understandable if we will have no more of them in future. I think that they are worth mentioning, as it is one of the best things about Pixlbit IMO.

Some things I would like to have discussed in future shows...

Pay to play Betas are the new norm? Dayz & Rust & Starbound

Everything is an MMO now? Destiny & Titanfall & Elder Scrolls Online

Micro transactions, everywhere? Forza & GT6

Apparently XBOXOne putting out games in 720p is ok? Really? Even though when WiiU did this people called it shit, but because it's xbox it's ok?

Nintendo still lacking software? Did a new Zelda silence all the critics? Give us more games!

EA put out a shit game, Battlefield 4, and no noise?

I do, too. It just never got any traction. But I'm hoping to do some sporadic specials here and there. I really enjoyed putting it together.

Cheer up guy! I've listened to a few of the other podcasts as well when I have free time. They are all entertaining. I was just pointing out that one of them was missing. Also, PB tends to focus more on controversy and current news which is rare these days. Most podcasts dont really analyze the news anymore. They're all focused on specialized subjects.

I want to say he mentioned that on a podcast once, but I could be wrong. I just know that after the first semester of my Masters courses, I'd say it's a good reason to take a break for a bit. If I'm remembering correctly. Also, if that's even part of the reason if true, I don't want to speak for Jason.

I'm alive. Masters is incorrect, I'm "behind" in schooling in some ways, it's Bachelors.

But more accurately, the stall out and missingness has to do with my job. It's shiftwork w/ a 12-hour shift, and I've basically been having to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to do it, which has left me exhausted and ready to fall asleep come traditional PB & Jason recording time so I've just been absent.

Something I haven't discussed much yet, so it may be too early to say, is that PB & Jason could begin an alternating schedule. Another PixlBit staffer has expressed interest in taking the off-weeks, so that podcast could become it's own thing, or it could fall under the banner of PB & Jason, where I do every other week and he does the ones missing. I think. Like I said, it hasn't been discussed much, but it could be happening!
