Well, I finished up Alundra and then jumped right into FF X.  I do want to play FF X, but I think that I need a palate cleanser between games of a similar style and length.

I set down FF X for the moment and picked up Super Mario 3D Land.  It is definitely not the game that I was expecting.  I was expecting something along the lines of a typical 3D Mario game.  What they gave me was a New SMB game with 3D courses...  I have not decided how I feel about that.

I am finishing up the final of my Doctor Who audioplays.  There are still dozens upon dozens of them out there.  There are just a couple of issues...  I am enjoying the 6th Doctor and don't really want to switch to the 5th or 7th.  The other issue is cost.  There are still plenty of 5th and 7th Doctor stories at the bargain price, but to continue on with the 6th I would have to pay full price...

Anyway, I know that Big Finish has Sapphire and Steel audioplays.  I also had some birthday money, so I picked up the complete Sapphire and Steel television series.  I just started watching it this morning, and I do not think that I will be disappointed.

I ordered a bunch of Wii games over the weekend from Gamestop and a couple of DS games.  I cannot remember them all off the top of my head, I know that I got Thor for the DS and Golden Sun.  I think that I ordered Okami for the Wii and the No More Heroes games as well...  I am just too lazy to pull up my email at this moment.

That is all I have for the moment.

Okami Den for DS is fun. I think it might be a mirror of Okami, but with a puppy, based on what I've played of the two games.

I have Okamiden somewhere.  I never actually started it though.  Just wasn't feeling it at the time.

Alundra then Final Fantasy X?
You stalking the Backlogger crew? lol

The palette cleanser is completely understandable though. Immediately after Alundra, I hopped in to Dark Souls II and The Amazing Spider-man. It felt good to play something different and less, puzzling.

What can I say, that Backlogger crew really knows how to inspire me to play games that I haven't experienced yet.

Yeah, I finished off two Tales games in a row and then jumped into a third and just dropped it about three weeks ago. I'm going to play one of the Telltale game bundles I just bought as my palette cleanser, I think.

I can always count on Nintendo to refresh my desire to return to...  any genre.

I enjoy Super Mario 3D Land, but compared to 64 and the Galaxy games it feels lacking and at times very easy.

Overall, I do like it.  I just like the 64/Galaxy set-up where you can explore these spaces as much as you want.  Finding easter eggs and enjoying the view.

Agree. Though I do admit Nintendo did a good job adaptating the NSMB level design into 3D.

I actually havent been playing much except for Animal Crossing since there as been several events  this month. I also prolly wont be buying much game wise till the end of May since its a big purchase. I am though looking at maybe squeezng in a vita game purchase since one of the newest released games caught my eye.

Can I ask as to what Vita game has your attention?

I still have plenty of games to work on at the moment, but I thought that Gamestop's deal would be a good idea to jump upon, especially before more obscure Wii games fade away.  Or get thrown out by Gamestop employees.

After putting 50 hours into FFX, it feels great being able to whip through a bunch of PSN games in rapid succession.

I do like that feeling.  After playing something that consumed me for six weeks, it is super nice to be able to fly through a game like Super Mario 3D Land in a couple of days.

I really liked 3D Land. I even played most of the post-game content! I think I've ordered something from GameStop's website only once. I'm generally a stickler for having the boxes (usually) but ordering from the website is basically a box lottery. Maybe you'll win, maybe not.

The only problem is that the games that I ordered rarely seem to be in the stores in my area.  Plus, it looks as though I exploited some sort of a loophole when ordering.  Either that, or their system is really dumb.

So don't get me wrong, I do like the original boxes and all.  I just want to make sure I get the Wii games that I want before I lose the opportunity to.

I really want to play Super Mario 3D Land, I need to start setting more money aside for a new TV and Wii U.

I need moar 3DS games. I only have 1 and I'm sure there is more to gaming on the 3DS than Donkey Kong Country Returns.
