So next weekend its the Ciruit of America's here in Austin and the Wife hooked me up with tickets and being that I have never seen a real Formula One Race im soooooooo excited and I have been playing alot of F1 and although the reveiws for the game are crappy ( just look at Metacritic ) its only because its not much different then 2013 which I didnt play since it was digital only and if I got the 2013 version I would have had to get the Classic version which has the classic cars & tracks and cost a whopping $74.99 on psn and im not paying that much for a game which releases every year.

This is basically what all reveiws said about 2014.

F1 2014 is a fun, accessible and authentic racing sim. But the differences over last year's game are slight and with the classic mode removed, the package it offers is inferior to F1 2013. ( but what they dont tell you is F1 2013 is $49.99 & The Classic Edition is $74.99 )

This version was very expensive

So not only its going to be strange to be at a race in Austin and have millions of people from all over world I have never been to a race track this huge.

So my opinion on F1 2014 the game basically comes down to this if you like the old school F1 race cars & tracks then 2013 is the better buy, but with that said with all the new rules and changes made this year & if you want the up to date drivers& teams then this years version is awesome.

At any rate this is the 2014 features and if you are thinking of getting this game I hope this helps.

I think it should be called Mario Andretti Kart Racer 2014.

All joking aside though, this would be really cool in one of those multi screen setups some people have to get the full experience. Does it have a mode for multiple screens, foot pedals, steering wheel and all?

I used to watch F1 racing when I was a kid. I liked it better than stock car racing because they took more turns and the cars looked cooler.

We have F1 here in the US? I thought it was only in the EU? I just recall seeing some NASCAR races that tried to use F1 tracks but that was LONG AGO.
