It's based on Joseph Delaney's book The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch. He's a British writer. The British title was The Spook's Apprentice.

Whereas I think holograms are incredibly cool, I'm really not all that into going out of my way to buy a pair of hologram glasses. There used to be an amazing museum of holography in Paris, I went there during my travels around Europe during the year i took off between high school and college. According to wikipedia, it closed in 1996, which made me a little sad.

I definitely want to see Jupiter Ascending. Partly to see if Sean Bean survives the whole movie, lol.

I need to see more demos of hologram games to care.

my thoughts are the hologram are:  it's cool, but I remember the overhype for Kinect, so... I don't want to get burned again. 

Holograms will probably still be pretty primitive. I'm more excited for Oculus Rift or whatever Sony has coming up that's like it.

Jem is getting a new comic this year! I'm excited! I'm not very excited about Microsoft new project, honestly it's gonna cost sooo much on release. That's probably why I'll skip it. I'm gonna have to miss a few games. I am getting the monster hunter new 3ds bundle and majora's mask. Pretty excited for it.

I'll have to look into that Jems comic. Monster Hunter 4 is pretty fun! Even random online is pretty fun!

I won't lie...I am oddly excited for the Jem movie. I guess it's because it used to air between G.I. JOE and Transformers after school so I never missed an episode.

I don't think Hololens is going to do anything really. 3D TV is basically dead and I'm not sure that any tech that requires people to wear something on their their head will be successful. Not to mention we have no idea if those who get headaches from 3D will have similar problems with Holographic images.

Anyway it's Microsoft so it's a case of over-promise and under-deliver. Honestly I have no idea why there are still people who believe anything that comes out of that company's mouth.

Prime Trilogy for only $10? Yet another reason for me to get a Wii U.

I've learned about Jem before thanks to That Guy With the Glasses/Channel Awesome and fan art over Deviantart, but from a point of view of someone not raised in the 80s, I found it to be horribly dated....

Belive it or not, my most precious gaming posesion is the physical steel case copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy. One of my favorite buys and i'm lucky to get it since by now the Wii copies have joined the club of rarest games and expesive to to buy over Amazon and Ebay.

I saw they where bring Jem back as a comic a while back and I was like, "Wait what? Really? Okay" Last thing to be expected, for sure.

I might get the Prime Trilogy as I already have the originals, so I can keep them archived.

I'm torn, because on one hand it's Mila Kunis as a space princess in a Wachowski movie. But on the other hand it's Channing Tatum with bleach blonde hair and elf ears.

Ah, I should probably replay the Prime Trilogy.  Prime 2 is one of my favourite games of all time.  Prime is awesome and all, but there is something about Prime 2 that I like just a little better.

I will most likely watch Jupiter Ascending.  It looks so... weird.  I am sure to love it.

I don't know much about Windows going Hologram. I saw a little info on it on Twitter and then it seemed like it just disappeared. I'd like to see some Holograms come to home computers but knowing my luch it will make me dizzy.

I got the Jem reference and yes I am old. I did watch an episode a month ago when I couldn't sleep because I think it was on before GI Joe on a random cable channel.
