Something about Final Fantasy has always been a part of most gamers life, and this one for the original ps1 I will always remember the one part that actually made me tear up and keep in mind I dont cry,not that im heartless or anything I had a hard life growing up and learned to put up a wall that shows my emotions but anyway FF7 the part which I will never forget was when

Aeris the well known flower girl died, that to me was the sadest day in gaming history, it touched me in way up till that point no other games had,The cast was awesome the cybersteam punk world was unbeleivable and this just has to go down as my favorite gaming moment of all time.

This game actually had a couple of WTF moments for me. Discovering that Cait Sith was a Shinra spy and of course the tragic death of Aeris. Also realizing that Cloud is a clone imprented with the memoroes of his best freind. And seeing Emerald weapon creeping aroundduring my first trip in the sub before I knew what he was, just knowing I should avoid him.  Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VI are at a dead tie for my favorite FF game. Seven is just oozing with atmospere though, something about the art style and the music it just realy draws me in like few games ever have.

I love FFVII too.  The hell with the haters, it's good!  I play it at least once a year.

Man the memory I did had about this game was that I got it way after it came out..I was tired and mean tired of that commercial of the game. This was way back when I hated rpg's I thought it was retarted, boring and just not something I would ever play. By the time I got the game I heard from everybody, aeris dies..So when it did happen I was ok..next!!

Ha, I just mentioned on my last comment how another death moved me more than Aeris'! I can't pick a favorite gaming moment, though I can say that scene showing that Cloud was actually messed up and took the role of his friend Zack really blew my mind like few other games have since.

I played FFVII a few years late so I can't say the death of Aerith was much of a shock for me :P

The atmosphere, music and characters still make FFVII a special game to me though. I still enjoy it to this day and nothing else feels anything like it. It still doesn't beat FFX in my book though, but that's for my own reasons :3

That game hooked me from the start. And like no other game had done before. Don't know if it's the story, the characters,or the music. I have the soundtrack to it,btw. The only game I can say even comes close is Parasite Eve. Another RPG from Square from that era. But for me,Metal Gear Solid for PS1 will always be tops. It shaped my taste in games to this day.

Favorite game moment? Do I have one? I don't know. I will say the ending of Wind Waker is up there, though.

Phantasy Star II SPOILER

Aeris didn't phase me because I had already felt that pain before. Years before Aeris received that fatal blow, Nei was slaughtered right before my eyes, never to return. I played through half of the game holding on and believing she was could back somewhere later in the game. Didn't happen.

The death of Aeris made me cry. Hey! I can admit to having emotions. One of my most recent gaming moments to have that same impact? The conclusion of The Walking Dead game. The scene with Lee and Clementine. That was rough.....wow.  Just wanted to say thanks for sending the code to Skyrim. I got so excited I accidentally deleted your message! I'm sorry,I will send a message with me email to you on XBOX tonight.

Although Aerith's death was an incredible scene, pretty much all of Final Fantasy VII was wonderful, start to finish. That game has more awesome moments for me than any 10 other games put together.
