So, are you voiced by John Travolta?

I've been muddling through One Piece Odyssey. It's like Dragon Quest but with the Straw Hat Pirates. I think it even has the same developers. I'm enjoying it.
Recently picked up Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Enjoying that.
Also ordered a physical copy of Princess Maker 2 and played through that.
Mostly been limited to old arcade games, because I've been sick and that's about the extent of my gaming ability right now.
I watched a lot of this stuff when I was in high school. I still watch Simpsons, KotH, and Futurama, and I still pull out the Simpsons arcade game once in awhile. I'm really gotten into Bob's Burgers over the years, and I even went to see the Bob's Burgers movie in theaters. My favorite episode was the one where they spoofed My Little Pony and the "brony" subculture around it.
One funny thing: in the episode where Bart is home-schooled, I was home-schooled, too. And at the time that episode came out, my assigned reading was Johnny Tremaine, which is what Bart was reading. And like Bart, I was a lot more enthusiastic about the book when I read the scene where Johnny's hand got deformed. "They should call this book 'Johnny Deformed!'"
On the subject of Garfield: Did you ever read Garfield: His 9 Lives? Especially that one story. You know the one I'm talking about.
My favorite adult animation in recent years was F is for Family, which is on Netflix and was based on the childhood of creator Bill Burr. It's kind of rough at times, but it's funny and i like the voice cast, which includes Jonathan Banks (Mike from Breaking Bad) as the voice of one of the grandfathers, and Kurtwood Smith (Red from That 70s Show) as the other grandfather.
I have some trepidation about the KotH reboot, since a lot of the voice cast has since passed away, namely Brittany Murphy, Tom Petty, and most recently Johnny Hardwick (Dale).
I was legit surprised by the Chili's BurgerTime game, especially given how obscure BurgerTime is nowadays (despite being re-released on modern hardware).
Its battle system is a lot like Sakura Wars, and that's partly because it was made by many of the same people. Unlike VC, Sakura Wars has a full overhead view instead of the over-the-shoulder views and limited perspective of VC (you won't see any of the action until it comes into one of your party members' field of vision.) For the actual combat, it seemed to me like they were trying to adapt the cover system of Gears of War into a turn-based RPG.
Valkyria Chronicles was my favorite game of the 7th generation. Beautiful graphics and fun SRPG gameplay.
My most recent purchases were Trails Through Daybreak and Princess Maker 2 on Switch. I also put in a preoder on Atari 50 Expanded, which supposedly will feature a "deep dive" into Berzerk.
It would probably get some generic name like "Crusades" or "War for the Crown."
The cover art would show the main character as a big, oily bodybuilder type drawn by Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell. Only Working Designs and a handful of other companies felt comfortable putting the game's original anime art on covers, and we owe them a debt of graittude for that.
When I got rid of my 360, Microsoft made it a pain in the ass to cancel my Live sub.
My game of the year so far is Unicorn Overlord. A great homage to Ogre Battle 64 with Vanillaware visuals. I also enjoyed Paper Mario. Right now I'm playing Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak, which is the latest arc in the series.
Most anticipated games later this eyar are Zelda: EoW and Dragon Quest III HD.
