That's a good deal on the Skylanders sets and figures (Cmon stores do a buy one get one 50% off on Lego Dimensions.) Check Walmart for the older sets, I've seen a couple floating around. I have those Onimusha games too! I went through a phase of trying to get all of them for the consoles, and I finished the original on the PS2, but only got halfway through the updated version on X-Box.
Congrats on the job man! I read your newer blog about losing all the tech (sorry again about that) but you get a new challenge with more $$$. I think you'll be fine and will be caught up in no time.
At least you have that going on your FB. It seems that everyone follows radio stations that post memes seen on Reddit. My new game on Facebook is blocking that content, and the stuff that one friend posts. They seem to want to share everything on the internet which is annoying as hell. I get that you want to keep Facebook life and Pixlbit life separate. I have a similar rule too and I have my FB rule of You Invite Me First.
I liked GTA V, but I really didn't enjoy Trevor's Missions. At the time I thought it slowed down the story of Michael and Franklin, but I did like the tie in with the biker gang from GTA IV. At some point I will get around to and finish it again on PS4 so I can use that space on another game.
Hey congrats on the new job! Photoshop class was always fun. The funny thing is when I took it at SDSU, the classroom was in the Music Building on the other side of campus from the Art Buildings which was odd.
Damn that sucks but hey a new job, sounds exciting! I was going to mention that the Nexus 7 was on Groupon but I don't know if it's available in Canada. I remember you talking about the Surface tablet and that thing was a heck of a tablet.

Congrats! I don't think I have ever played this game but I've been tempted a couple of times to get the physical copy with Flow and Flower (I really enjoyed Flow). It does have an interesting art style.
Oh its not turn based anymore? Maybe I'll give it another shot. Can't say I'm surprised that this game has turned episodic. It seems a lot of games are taking this route which could be good for casual gamers but I wonder how the folks who spend a ton of time playing games like this feel about only getting it in chapters.
I was at the local GameStop on Sunday and I think they are still running their promo on for buy 2 get 2 free, or is it 3 free? Either way its worth it to check out a couple of stores and build up your Skylanders collection. I know I've said it before but check Marshall's/TJ Maxx/Ross. The local stores seem to have restocked on the figures.
Good price on that bad boy. I'm not in the market for a new 3DS but for some folks that is a good price to get an upgrade over the current version.
That is why I won't jump into the Skylanders Unvierse. Way too many figures to collect, and their recent racing game is tempting.
I'm impressed you are still playing through EDF. I would have hit the fatigue wall after the first playthrough.
