By the time I started going to arcades the ubiquitous game was Area 51. Man, was that ever a quarter muncher! Too bad about WW84. It's so neat when a film or show pays super close attention to little details and such a shame when they don't.

It's a shame the video uses the same character all the way through. There are four characters, each with a different element and, therefore, a different special attack.
Oh, the Engrish! I forgot to mention that. Yeah, there were some great lines
I played DQ1 on my phone (surprisingly good phone game that can be played one-handed!) and DQ4 on the DS. Neither was horribly long as I recall. I think that started with 7
I'm surprised the game was so popular! I mean, we have come a long way in game design since 1982 lol
I bought DQ XI this month. Another one on the pile of freaking huge RPGs to play!
The ending of Wind Waker is so good! You must see it through!
Naturally the game is better when the character is doomed to fail. Irony strikes again! But I'm not surprised the game was decent. Sunsoft knew their stuff.
Dude! That light gun game sounds neat. I'll probably never see it in real life but if I do...
I do have the second Taito Legends collection, so I assume Elevator Action Returns is on there. I'll looking forward to trying it!
