This game is so great. I particularly remember that crazy battle in the sky where you fought a character your size as two ginormous creatures battled it out behind you. Great stuff. I do think it's funny how Bayonetta is basically a Nintendo character at this point.
I have the three-game Amnesia collection thanks to PS+ and always meant to at least play that first game but never got around to it. I honestly don't know if I'd like them or not.
My wife and I played through this game co-op and this is a hard game already, but I think it's actually tougher co-op. But it was so good that we stuck with it. And yeah, I love that soundtrack.
I certainly can't do that, trying out a bunch of games. When I start a game, I'm committed or it bugs me. Gotta finish it. That's why I'm so hesitant to start a huge RPG, even though I have a bunch and I like playing them. They just take so dang long.
I've heard of this one but never played it. But I'm always down for blowing things up as a giant mech.
They're definitely less brutal than the Zero series that came after.
Capcom got this game so right that the series arguably never got better than this. It's a shame, really. And I love the animal theme for the bosses.
