I missed Kotor's interface so much.

Inquisition was actually my GOTY. But I'll talk about that later. Though if you don't mind me asking, how far did you get in Inquisition? Because I can certainly understand why if you weren't that far. Even if not though, Totalbiscuit felt the same way as you so different strokes.
I liked Crysis. Not my favorite FPS, but a damn good one. Plenty of options available, huge Halo-esque open areas while not being open world (one of my favorite things to have in an FPS). Just wish it didn't go to shit towards the final couple of hours. Before that though, I had a blast.
2 I didn't play much of, but hot damn it was a great game to showcase my PC's power right after I built it.
All I care about is whether or not I have a hard time putting the game down. I couldn't care less how they do it.
Two, Sharpedo and Garchomp
Yeah, they announced Suicune (water typed legendary dog), Gardevoir (Psychic/Fairy type), and Pikachu. As for Zelda, I think this one will be plenty different from the other 3D ones. The focus on exploration and inspiration from the original game they keep touting seem to be enough for it to feel different.
But I don't think the 3D ones have been repeating themselves anyways. Twilight Princess copied OoT, I won't deny that. But Majora's Mask was basically Groundhog Day the game, Wind Waker was more about making discoveries in that vast ocean, and SS, though shit, had a Dark Souls like world design with smaller areas you focus on finding new paths to unlock shortcuts to when getting around with a lot of enemies to fight.
Do these all have dungeons in between this stuff? Yeah. But there was plenty different between these games to make each stand out in its own way. You just have to do stuff other than the dungeons.
I wouldn't say Dark Souls 1 is like that at all. It's more about learning and making sure you as the player get better. I actually feel that's a huge issue with many NES games, they're mostly hard just so they can artificially make the game longer.
I'll take that ugly, but fun as hell Dark Souls 1 any day.
Yeah, that drove me nuts in Demon's Souls 2. That ring sounds like a great thing, but still, that idea just pisses me off. And maybe there are enough effigies, but just knowing they're finite was enough to get me stressed in the game. I just have so much more fun with Dark Souls anyways.
I hate the Patriots, but I'm not too bummed out by the game since it was a great game and I hate the Seahawks too. I'll take that over last year's Superbowl any day.
