This week's PB & Jason covers a lot of ground. It starts with the shock of a popular two-month-old game that can be found at half its original retail price. Fly, you fools!

Similar to the classic arcade games popularized in the early 80s, Canabalt is a fun, arcade-style game that can be played with a single finger. It has a simple premise that anyone can immediately understand: run, run for your life! As giant robots lay waste to the city in the distant background and space ships rocket overhead, all you can do is run from the destruction, jumping over obstacles and hopping gaps between crumbling buildings. This is a game scored not in points or lives, but how far you can make it before the inevitable happens and you fall to your doom.

All this pushing and pulling reminds me of another Nintendo puzzle game or two…

Pushmo, the first 3DS digital download title from Intelligent Systems, could easily be mistaken for an Art Style game, which are found by the dozen on the Wii and DS shops. Like those games, it takes a simple premise (puzzle-platforming) and graphics and makes an extremely in-depth and meaty experience. The result is one of the best eShop titles available right now, deserving of a download from all 3DS owners.

Sony may finally be ready to let the cat out of the bag.

We’re all but positive that Sony plans on releasing a fourth installment in the God of War series.  There have been various leaks and clues that hinted at the game’s existence for quite some time now.  And now, if Sony’s PlayStation Facebook page can be used as any indication, it seems that they may finally be ready to reveal the game for real this time.

While PC gamers celebrate, Demon's Souls on the PS3 will rage one last time into the night.

Dark Souls, the spiritual successor of the surprise hit Demon’s Souls, has been lauded by many a gamer for its brutal and unforgiving difficulty – a feature that has separated the game from the more regular AAA fair that was released last year.  It’s a game designed specifically for the hardcore gamer, but it hadn’t yet been able to call the most hardcore of platforms, the PC, home.  That is, until now.
