Tonight has been the greatest night ever...it's really hard to surpress all of this excitement I have oozing right now!

I FINALLY....after YEARS of wait and waiting and wanting....I now own a decent copy of Suikoden 2! OMGYAY! I decided to try my luck out on ebay this weekend and the first copy I was aiming towards started out at $80 and I decided to wait a bit. So today since it was suppose to end (along with the copy I ended up getting and was watching at the same time) I tried my luck at bidding on it. Well someone had a pretty high bid on it because I told myself I will not go over $120 for the game. This person made it over 120 so I said les sigh. Then I figured okay the second copy HAS to be the one...and it was! So it should be getting here to me in my arms on the 24th and I will hold it and pet the case (i know creepy) and be all I love you game that I have been yerning to play for years. The final price I ended up spending on Suikoden 2 was $109.00 which if anyone knows how pricy this game can get...this was a really awesome deal. The game CD is in great condition too since I told myself I would only purchase a copy if I see a picture of the back of the disc first. The manual is in great condition too. The game case has a few scratches on it but that's ok.

So glad that's out of my system! I also got myself a few other games really cheap as well Growlanser Generations, Atelier Iris Eternal Mana, Shadow Hearts Covenant, andDonkey Kong Country 1. I have another game going off tomorrow (again cheap) Saga Frontier 1. I made sure they were cheap games because I didn't want to spend a lot from my tax money. If the bidding went over my limit I had put then I was not gonna push for them.  But yay! I am excited for my new collection to come my way. They are certainly going to get played asap. I at the moment am figuring out what games I want to play with Demon's Souls. I tried to start up Black Sigil but for some reason wasn't really feeling it, so I need to think of a new game. I still have a few others I did start to finish up which I do plan on doing very soon. I just at the moment fell out of a gaming mood and more into an arts & crafts mood/ organizing mood for the time being.

As for my games to be sold, the total of everything getting shipped off comes you a little over $600. Which is pretty nice in my opinion. I am opting to go for getting the check of money for the games though instead of sitting on credit. Granted i'll only be getting 70% of the credit total, but at least it's something. With everything I have to ship out I am planning on shipping out my Rockband seperatly. I have been unable to find a box to fit it in the stores.....my plan is to wrap it in this brown paper stuff and have packing tape all over it to keep it from ripping. That's gonna be one interesting package they get haha. I am then gonna ship out my other games and systems in another box together. So I have to see if they will be willing to only look at the one portion of the order for their free shipping service and just give me a seperate ups slip for the rockband.I feel it'll just be a lot easier that way but we'll see what they say about it.

In the arts and crafts world! I have finished some fun things!

First I painted my Hello Kitty bank:

HK bank

Next I finished and framed my hello kitty puzzle:

puzzle

Then today I finished my Needle Felt Zombies!

I am right now in the works of my panda latch hook creation and should/hoping to have that done some time this week. I want to also find something interesting to do with it for hanging it up. So I'll have to look around for some ideas on that!

Next weekend for me will be spring cleaning! I tried to do some organizing this weekend but it didn't work out quite like I wanted it to. I was helping my mom with kitchen move around and such and finding things she wanted to get rid or and ask if I want it for when I move out. So in the process of trying to declutter my room it is now turning into a storage room for my items of moving out. We came up with the solution that she'll help me next weekend rearrange and clean up my room with me. A two man team on the job will go a lot faster than just lil ol' me. I am (shockingly) going to be also cleaning out my curios...which means I am going to get rid of Hello Kitty items...GASP! Well only the really childish items that are honestly more for a kid than an adult. I figured the stuff animals (because I still like them) and the precious moments or as I say the more adult looking type items I want to keep. I feel it would be awkward to have the curio of Hello Kitty items in my living room and people see all this hello kitty kid stuff. I figured it's time to mature it up a bit and keep away from the kid stuff. I still may freak and go OMGSOCUTE! But thats because in the future I am praying for a little girl to love Hello Kitty and think about how cute she would be having that item. But I refurse to buy or be given anymore of the child things!

That is all for my happy news/what will be happening to me in the next few days. I may be MIA for a little bit from blogging, but I will be reading and responding to blogs. I am also planning to get my reviews typed this week for the games I have been saying I would type reviews for! The goal is to have them done Friday and then I will post the links on here. We shall see how it goes.

I remember getting my copy of Radiant Silvergun on the Saturn after years of debate and  obsession. It was $210.00, but it also got here in literally two business days, which is a personal eBay record. Awesome that you got Suikoden II. Congrats.

Congrats!  It's always great to see friends get those games they've always wanted. Cool

Indeed! It was the only game I told myself I would ever spend that type of money on. Although now I am kinda tempted to in the future go after the older Tales of games....but that will again be another few years lol

You plan to go for them all?! Surprised  That's a challenge. I have a few of the more recent games and hadn't played any of them yet.  If you plan to do it, I wish you luck and hope to see the day when you post, "I GOT'EM ALL!" Laughing

Haha, I am thinking about getting all the US released ones. Problem is the Tales games are a lot more expensive I feel and I still need to figure out which ones I need. I believe I only need the ones for the PS and then the Tales of the World games for the PSP.

I actually only need one more of the Suikoden series released in the US also, the DS one. I wish they would bring over the new one they made for the PSP along with the others that werent release din America for the PS

Yay that you got Suikoden 2! I'm not a big fan of the series, myself, but I have played some of the games in the series and enjoyed them. Still have to play more Suikoden Tierkreis for the DS, it's pretty good except for the terrible voice acting.

Shadow Hearts:Covenant is an awesome JRPG! I also recomend the other games in the series:Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts:From the New World. Good stuff.

Love the needle felt zombies! Do you think you might sell any on Etsy?

Thanks XD

I actually own the first Shadow Hearts game and LOVED it. I am actually stuck on the last boss >_< but amazon always has the game for a pricy amount and the used games were pretty expensive too so I figured ebay would be my savior in finally buying it and it was. I am planning to get the third one after I complete the second one and finally beat the first games boss as well.

I actually really like needle felt! It was a lot easier than I thought but can hurt when you accidently stab yourself with the needle. I am looking into more projects to do for it. I saw a few that did video game characters which I think is pretty neat and may try that myself after getting better at it. I probably won't sell thm on etsy because I really like them. I usually keep everything I make and put it somewhere haha. My plan is to make magnets out of them and stick them on my fridge!

Make sure you finish the first Shadow Hearts before you start Covenant unless you don't mind the ending being spoiled by doing so.

That's my plan! I still have the save file (or I hope I do) so I can quickly finish it up hopefully.

For me, Suikoden 2 was the best in the series! It had me more emotionally invested than even the best FF games. Hope you enjoy it,Ash!

Thanks Ben! I have always heard amazing things about it and I never knew it existed until I was in middle school and saw Suikoden 3. I was in gamestop and ran up to my Dad going when did they make a 2nd game?!?! And then at the time even when I tried to look for it on ebay...it was also well over $140 and such. So happy to finally after that long to have my own!

Cool. I always wanted to try Suikoden II due to its legendary status. $109 is not all that bad for such a rare game anyway. There are numerous collectors editions of new games that cost more and they flood the market. I would definitely buy the game if it landed on PSN.

I was hoping the same thing about it going on the PSN...but for me I wanted to own the physical copy to own all of the Suikoden games that have been released in America. The only one I need now is the DS game and I will then have all the physical copies of the game. Some of the prices on ebay and where ever else are pretty high if they are in great condition. Even the ones with manuals, I was so happy I got a complete set for sucha  good price. They usually start much higher, but I think he had it start at $100 because of the case being scratched since everything else was in good condition.

Great buy you know how i feel about awesome games, and yes Suikoden II is a peice of art in my opinion and now for you to own it has to feel awesome, all these years on 1up and now pixlbit of my preaching on collecting awesome games, now you see why. Nothing feels greater then landing that hard to get game that you have been wanting. So im so happy for ya and it looks like you scored some other awesome games as well, my collection before tax time was below 50% after tax time 80% and it feels awesome and i told myself no more trading my games. anyway congrats on that awesome score.

Thanks! I am planning to expand upon the physical game copies of amazing games in the near future! I need to make a list of the ones I want to get! I recently just remembered Lufia, so that's now on my watch list lol

leeradical42

04/22/2013 at 01:48 PM

Wasnt Lufia a snes title i could be wrong but right now for the ps i want persona and for the ps2 i need to get Rule of Rose and the Xonagears trilogy but it may be a while since i spent well over $1.500 bucks on a new 360 slim and games and dlc lol.

FAF101

04/24/2013 at 01:31 PM

Lufia is a SNES one. I may just emulate it instead of buying it because it looks like they go for about $50 on ebay. That goes for a lot of other games as well but I figured to try to get what I can in physical copies!

Suikoden II is a class game and one of my favourites. I've always said i'd like to own it but I doubt I'd ever drop that kind of money on it! Enjoy!

FAF101

04/22/2013 at 09:56 AM

I will! I usually don't like dropping huge amounts of money on games but I figured this was to be the exception!

Congrats! I felt that way when I found my complete copy of Valkyrie Profile for $60 a couple of years ago.

About Hello Kittty: does that mean I shouldn't get you and the fiance a Hello Kitty Popcorn Popper for a wedding present? LOL.

FAF101

04/22/2013 at 09:57 AM

There are a few other games I am planning to get still to in physical copy form! I am just waiting for the right deal to come along!

And I will certainly take a hello kitty popcorn machine! Kitchen appliences are acceptable since I am still keeping my toaster and my water dispencer and spatual!

Sweet! I've wanted to play Suikoden II for a long time, well, at least since the Retronauts episode about the series, but I can't afford to! Lol. I remember there was a PSP compilation of the first two games but it never came to America Frown That would have made things much easier.

I've had the first Shadow Hearts game for about a year and keep meaning to play it but just haven't gotten to it yet. I've heard its sequels are even better.

Thanks! I am planning on doing snomen next to have for Christmas decorations. I also found a place to buy the wool needed for the craft so I am planning to take a stab at doing a video game based character in the future!

Well I'm glad to know that it takes more than a 100 piece Hello Kitty puzzle to hold you back! lol

Congrats on Suikoden II also! That's great!
I remember you telling me that you were keeping your eye out of it, so I'm glad it worked out for you!
I should've tried to raise the price a bit to mess with you though.. lol!
