Blog Catch Up Day

Well...I will say that there are a lot of new blogs for me to read and reply to. I am going to plow through them during the day when I do not have much work to do for work. Hopefully all have been read and replied to by the end of the day!

Anyways what has been new...honestly nothing much. Chris aka Yargz told us all about that wonderful Xbox sale going on and it made my wallet almost cry tears of pain. Told myself I wouldn't but I failed. Ended up buying myself Dishonored, MGS HD 2 and 3, MGS Peasewalker (think?), Rayman Raving Rabids, and The Darkness. I also got myself Dance Central 2 when I went into Wal-Mart the other day. I now just have to wait for Dace Central 3 to become $20.

I am also excited about some of the games that the PSN market place is going to be bringing out for Plus Members. I figure even if I don't have a Vita and possibly never play the game right away...I have free games that I can only play when I am a member. Which I feel is spiffy and I already have games for the Vita when I eventually get myself one. Which I am hoping to this summer!

Still playing some Guild Wars 2 as well, the guild quests I was super excited about found out we have to spend guild points to purchase them in order to be able to start them. Made me kind of sad, I thought it was going to be a bit different. I am right now trying to get the world completion medal in the game. I have about 60% of the world map 100% explored...some of them are not easy.

I figured today I am going to put up my 3DS, DS, GBA, and GBC collections because I can easily find all of them. And I am also saying this because recently I have been playing a lot of Cooking Mama 4, which is really addictive and fun. I think after I get a few more recipies I may write a review about it.

Indeed. I figured that I may just read everyones and reply to the ones I know I can reply to without thinking too hard for a comment haha XD

I think starting tomorrow it'll be easier for me since I kind of forgot about PixlBit until I now put it in my startup webpage tabs

ooo oooo read my blogs!  Tongue Out

I don't have the heart to put up my game collection. It's really not too big though. I trade in games and sell them to Amazon if I get sick of them. I collect PS2 games though, so I don't sell those.

I don't really sell many of my games...I have only sold ones that did not turn out to be what I thought they were and did not play them for a very long time.

Oh goodness if I did a wish list it would be just as big as my game collection haha XD

I have my wishlist on Amazon thought instead, and I am sure I am missing a few games on there as well.

I still have to put in something like 14 more systems into my collection. I've been a bit lazy. But daily blogs. That's still a thing LOL

Haha XD I have a few more systems too, but I don't think I have too many games for them. I do my every now and then.

That's a lot of games. Your gonna have a blast with Peacewalker. If you like the MGS style of gameplay. Peacewalker was the reason why I bought a psp. Don't forget to shoot dudes in the back of the head with tranquilizer darts! lol Laughing

Cary I love Cooking Mama! It seems like Cooking Mama 4 has a never ending supply of recipies though! I have so many that they just keep coming after I beat one!

Cooking Mama 4, huh? You crazy kids, living life on the edge! lol. I've been curious about The Darkness too. I like fpses that have a supernatural or sci fi twist!

Cooking Mama is the bomb lol.

I played a demo for the Darkness and I liked it, just never got around to buying it till the Xbox sale!

I see you have some of the heavy-hitters on the GBC with a whole mess of Dragon Quest and Zelda.  The same goes for the GBA.  Taking a closer look at what you have, I see that you have both Shining Soul games.  There's something interesting going on between those two games, where the first game is basically a test run of what would be greatly expanded in the second one.  Simply put, don't spend too much time on the first game.  Just beat it and move on to the second game which has a better gameplay and character development system.

I also see CIMA in your collection.  That game is rough as it is essentially a game-long escort mission.  I wish you the best of luck towards finishing that one.

And let me mention one more game before running off.  You have to write a review for Black Sigil when you finish it.  I have the game myself, but it beat me down pretty early on due to poor gameplay design.  All I ever did was write an impression for it, and it would be nice to see someone post a full review for the game.  I intend to return to it someday, but the game will be a distant memory to most gamers by then.

I have noticed that about SHining Souls. I do like running around in the second game a lot better than the first one. And Cima...holy lord it is one tough game. It takes me awhile sometimes. I actually got stuck on a boss and I cannot for the life of me get past him.

I'll have to put that as my next game to play after beating Starcraft 2 games! And fully running through Cooking Mama 4 (which almost seems never ending lol) My friend actually gave me another 2 games for my Nintendo handhel collection as well! He gave me Scurge Hive for GBA and Assassins Creed Altair's Chronicles for DS.

Scourge: Hive is a fantastic game. I played it on the DS (same exact game), but it's basically an isometric Metroid game. Really enjoyed making my way through that one and should probably play through it again some time.

Glad to know it's a decent game! I had no idea what it was but my friend doesnt have a GBA or DS so I was like sure I'll take it off your hands. I'll have to try it out soon!
