You know I actually do like The Witcher 3, I just think giving it GOTY is like a girl giving you anything other than a pity fuck

Let's just say my dreams involving Blake most resemble an Itchy and Scratchy cartoon

I rented it on XB1 and am surprised how well it works with a controller. Still plan on buying it Steam sale later for keyboard and mouse and it's good enough to replay, but I'm still glad it works on a console

That is shitty. A shame too because it's a great game bit no game is good enough that you should take getting exploited to play it.

Well marking is optional. If you don't like it then you can try to keep tabs where enemies move to without it while being more cautious.

Also in the chance you do play it, see if you can get a save file for beating the game on there. Doing that gives you a wealth of options like cel shading and an HUD-less mode.

The production values are top notch, probably the best in the industry. But I did run into quite a few technical issues and the pacing was far from perfect in a series where pacing is everything. Mechanically Uncharted has always been the jack of all trades so it needs good pacing to work which it didn't always have here. At its best, I agree, it was some of the most fun of the year. At its worst, it dragged on for too long for me to give it a pass. After all, I have to review the whole product, especially one relying so much on its story.

I wouldn't say I'm lukewarm on a series where I consider one entry to be one of the greatest games ever made and half of another to be near perfect. And if you pay attention to my wording, I said that I feel only fans of the series would enjoy it which I did. I came out satisfied and nothing more which is what a 3.5/5 perfectly describes in my mind.

I'm hoping they let someone remaster Lion King and Aladdin on Genesis personally

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Review

That is a legitimate gripe but it didn't bother me too much as I quickly learnedto read carefully into what exactly is being said before presenting evidence. I do think it gets better at this as the series goes on as well, though there are still a few cases where it can be a problem  (the circus case in J4A comes to mind)

I'd still recommend giving the rest of the trilogy a try, JFA for its amazing final case with probably the best moral dilemma I have seen in video games and T&T is one of my top ten games ever, it's really that good

First off, whether you beat it would have a huge impact on your opinion. The last case (or in this game last two since they added one for the DS version) is vastly better than every other case in every AA game, always going far above and beyond the previous cases. And if you did, the sequels do make the investigations much better, limiting them to fewer days and adding a gameplay element where you have to find specific evidence to break people you encounter, giving a clearer goal and fun logic puzzles.

Video Game YouTubers I Recommend

I think excentuating the negative can be done well if done with tact. Yahtzee has done it for almost a decade and is still going strong. And Razorfist isn't perfect by any stretch but man he just gets how to make a video. I'd also recommend you check Classic Game Room, it's better known (dude makes as much off Patreon as Jim Sterling) but he's hilarious while always staying positive. If CGR says something sucks, it has to be really bad
