I know that I have found a lot of gear around, but getting to that point was a challenge for me and I was thankful for that armor from the shop to get past the initial mob.

There is one tip that I think you are missing that helped me quite a bit. The moment you get enough echoes, go back and buy the Yharnam Hunter hear from the shop. the gears defense is essentially 2x what you start with.
Definitely agree about grinding in the sewer. I didn't bother beating the Cleric Beast until I had leveled up into the mid to high 20s. I had even found Father Gasciogne before I beat the Cleric Beat.
I didn't have much issue with the Blood Starved Beast. I used up half my Blood Vials and died from poisoning the moment after I beat him, but I did beat him. The fire paper was a godsend.
the game is awesome so far, even if I am taking the slowest route to finishing it. I am off to see the Witch, and then I may finally take care of the Vicar.
I am enjoying it immensly and hope to write an early impressions blog. I think that the more interesting story is my friend at work, who is more of a FIFA and shooter kinda guy, but he is devouring this game.
I just thought of something else that makes the Forbes article rub me the wrong way. You aren't going to give this review to just anybody. Yes, you might not want to give it to the diehard Souls fan, but you can't give it to somebody who normally reviews iOS games.
I didn't have any issue with the IGN article, but this one I didn't really like.
i never really got into the Souls games and still picked up this game and am having a blast. A buddy at work also got a copy and seems to be enjoying it as well, and I wasn't expecting that.
Like the Uncharted 4 delay, this one didnt surprise me all that much.
I might have the same issue when Torment: Tides of Numenera launches. I can earmark that code for you if you would like.
I'll send it your way when I finally sits down at a computer.
You really want Pillars of Eternity? I can PM the code later.
You always ssem to highlight board games that I love, or that truly interest me. I am going to have to find a copy of Survive: Escape from Atlantis.
