Shadowrun Returns

It's always great to know that your money is actually being used to created a potentially great game.

I've been hearing about how good Wreck-it Ralph is. I wanna get that DVD too.

Games That Desperately Need Reboots: Rocket Knight Adventures

RKA is my favorite Konami game on the Genesis. When I saw Sparkster engage Axle in the robot pig battle, that blew my mind!

Friday Favourites - Contra: Hard Corps (GEN)

Talk about a game that's tough as nails! Hard Corps has a bigger reputation for being difficult than the original Contra!. This one had some truly over-the-top stages, but all in good fun.

TBA or Your game you want to play will never come out!

Wow, I haven't seen anyone mention Prey in a long time.  I played through the game and loved every minute of it.  And they left it wide open for an obvious sequel.  But I guess 3D Realms got too busy with Mr. Nukem.  It would be nice if they made a sequel to Prey for real.

Forgotten Gems: Boulder Dash

I rmember having a shareware demo of this on the PC called "Rockford".  My sister and I liked the game, but it was quite challenging.  I'm not sure exatly how far I was able to get back then.

About 3 or 4 years ago, I purchased Boulder Dash on the NES.  Boy, was I out of shape when I sat down to play the game.  I didn't make it very far in the game despite many attempts.  Still a fun game thoough.

Good stuff.  reminds me of the first time I posted a poem on 1Up.  I was kinda shy about putting it up, but it was surprisingly well-received.

Real life tragedy cutting into blog time but here I am!

Hey Ben, I'm very sorry to hear about your cat.  My wife's family have had several dogs throughout their life and I think one of them died of cancer many years ago.  We currently have an English Mastiff, but he's getting older and is showing signs of slowing down.  Needless to say, we aren't thrilled at the tought of having to put him down one day.

You also reminded me to get Cave Story on the Wii (or 3DS?).  Thanks for the reminder.  Take care buddy.

Retronautical: The Expendables

Yeah, Contra was the perfect two-player game.  I didn't know how much I was spoiled by Contra co-op play until I started playing other 2P NES games that forced you to take turns.  That's a real no-no these days.

Aw man, Super C blew my mind I first saw it.  It's a great example of a sequel being just as good as the first game.

Maybe you can blog about your game collection or what got you into gaming in the first place.  I'd sure be interested in tuning in to that.  Write about anything that interests you :-)
