I turned 25 Monday, March 23 after having come back from spring break, which was mostly dedicated to entering survey data and shitting. Lots of shitting. For those of you with not much fruit in your diet, I suggest easing back into it. Otherwise, you might have some rumblies when going out to eat with family for St. Paddy's Day and early birthday celebrations. I'm nowhere near where I thought I would be at this age, but I'm not sad about it. Life is good.

Luckily, I have met with my stats professor about my survey results and should have enough for my thesis discussion etc., but I'm also needing to make a lot of edits I intended to over the break. Need to do my taxes as well. Yeah, I know I'm late. This past week has been a blur, though I got free beer and food out of it at least three times, so that's always nice.

Yesterday, I ran a 5k for multiple-myeloma cancer. You can find out more at themmrf.org. My work friend's dad passed away from the cancer, so couldn't say no. Not sure if my time was 26 minutes (much closer to my average 5k time; the Lumberjacks Running Club leader Ryan has told me I've done it in 24 mins, not sure if true) or 29 minutes. I think we actually started at 9:03, or maybe I'm crazy and it was 9am sharp. Granted, I got turned around a couple times despite arrows everywhere. There was another 5k going on and I may have been cheered on by their finish line before realizing my mistake. Oops.

After that, it was a good 3-4 hour meeting with my stats professor. Holy hell I admire his dedication. I was telling him I could run a lot of the analyses on my own but he said he had nowhere to be, so I wasn't going to turn down the help.

Haven't done much gaming, though I did beat The Last of Us Remastered and the Left Behind DLC, Counter Spy, and Rayman Legends over the break. By beat I mean got to the end credits, not collected all the trophies. Still debating whether I should get Bloodborne with Vegas and its expenses just around the corner. I think in all it has already cost me $600 in plane and hotel tickets. And I still need to pay rent, electric and internet on the first. Not looking good for such expenses right now, but I would like to buy a physical game for PS4 once I have the money.

Well, back to reading for history. Decided to get every non-thesis related thing out of the way today so I can really focus in on it during the week. We have Easter break coming up on Thursday and I'm doing a Last Comic Standing thing at the university on April Fools since my audition was decent enough. Hopefully, I can get the finished thesis to my profs and the Grad School soon enough to graduate on time.

How are you all?

Blah. The more I meet with family the stranger it gets. I'm just more and more of an outsider and a strange sort to them I think. Need stuff like a real career and maybe a family, then things will seem ok. Not bettin' the bank on all that though.

Luckily, my family is weird and broke enough that I fit right in. Laughing Kidding, but I hope it all works out for you. Long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

happy birthday!  I'm going to start instituing a health program very soon!  I'm going to start doing yoga again, and using the stationary bike we have here, and my ultimate goal is to run again. I dunno, I've been feeling good lately, and I want to get myself healthier.  There's a couple other things I've wanted to do that I've started doing, or stopped doing (that were bad) and I just want to get healthy and get my act together.

It does feel good once you get going. Just take it slow at first, so you don't get discouraged. I used an app called Noom Coach that really helped when I was losing weight. Lots of people use MyFitnessPal.

Well hell man Happy Birthday, even if its a little late!

Sounds like you have a good prof. Schools need more folks who are willing to do that.

Wait on your game for a bit. By the time you have some extra cash, it'll probably be on sale, and besides Vegas will find all your money, and besides you might have more free time.

As for myself I just finished a project and I am currently waiting on a response from another. I should go practice taking pictures with different settings in the meantime.

I wouldn't ask anyone to do that, it's already a demanding job. Lucky to have him on my committee.

And yeah, I'm hoping to win back my money in Vegas. lol

I need a camera.
