I beat an FPS and Spartan Race

Went to the Spartan Race at AT&T Stadium yesterday. Here are my results:

I got a cool shirt as swag, some cat food was free there (weird, but Catara was happy), a Finisher medal (re: participation trophy) and some free snacks/samples.

Sadly, I can no longer accept free beer now that my doctor thinks I may have a hiatal hernia and has placed me on an anti-reflux diet. I can no longer have tomatoes, onions, chocolate, caffeine, greasy/fatty foods, alcohol of any kind, carbonated beverages or citrus-based fruit juices.

Also, I beat TitanFall 2's  campaign mode, marking the first time I've ever completed an FPS game. I thought some of the first-person platforming was annoying, but mostly welcome and cool ideas like time traveling during firefights really added to the feel of the game.

I will say I thought the titan battles were more or less luck-based attrition affairs, but maybe I could stand to boost out of the way more? I dunno. I honestly preferred the on-foot sections.

I'll play some more multiplayer before sending back to GameFly, and then finish Wolfenstein: New Order at some point, even though I'm not really feeling that one.

Actually, come to think of it, I'd rather play Life is Strange, which is free on PS+ this month.

I downloaded Life is Strange too today. I played the first episode on pc, but I want to finish the game. It's cool.

Looks like you finished in the middle of all your categories on there.  Much better than I would have done. I have to start exercising for real, I got a call from my doc about my latest bloodtest and my cholesterol went up. I'm already on a cholesterol pill.

No free beer?????

Yeah, I was telling my brother I did about as well as at one 5k in Dallas: in the top third, but at the bottom of that top third.

My blood test actually showed my testosterone was higher than normal, which may have been due to that Pantera CD in my car.

I played the demo for Life is Strange, but I'm excited to play the whole thing.

I hope I'll get to play Titanfall 2 sometime but it seems unlikely. I keep adding new titles to Gamefly trying to keep up to date and that one just get's farther and farther behind.

I really hope I can get past just long hikes in the park. I'd like to do a run again. Perhaps when my job thing is settled I'll try running again.

I'm pretty much done with it, so I'm sending it back tomorrow.

Good luck with everything!

Thanks. Things are picking up a little bit. I hope to take some classes this summer. I'm looking forward to that.

Business administration. Thought I'd check it out. I have an english degree and could write some stuff and use a computer. Maybe there's a career for me somewhere in the land of office spaces.

Hot damn so ice cold water and tofu is basically the diet? Also congrats on finishing a Spartan Race. Reading what you were timed in, it sounds nuts. My brother did one of those races and he said it was insane.

I almost bought Titanfall 2 a couple of times over the past couple of weeks, but I waited to see what was available for the Steam Summer Sale. I figure with my pace I can wait for Black Friday and pick up a copy of Titanfall 2 and have the time to actually play the game.

The one I did was a baby beginner one. No Mud or anything, just burpees, obstacles, stairs (lots and lots of bearcrawling or running up and down stairs) and other random challenges no one really passed ( the alternative was more burpees). My running partner and I helped each other out a few times splitting burpees duty. Lol

If you can get it, that's one FPS I actually enjoy playing, which is rare for me.
