Always Doctor Strange but I can get into any character if he/she/it is written well. Like I just read a Catwoman comic I liked a lot.

I always call Dr. Strange "Dr. Weird" for some reason.

Doc Weirdo would be a good name for Dr. Strange in a parody comic.

I just watched the new Dr. Strange movie on Disney+.  That movie made no sense.  At least the one eyed octopus from Marvel vs. Capcom 2 made an appearance.  I wish they'd make a Marvel vs. Capcom movie.  At least I'd know who some of the characters are.

I think I've almost completely forgotten everything in that movie already, but I enjoyed it at the time. Oh yeah, Scarlet Witch was a good badie. I'd consider reading a comic featuring her.

You had to watch that WandaVision show on Disney+ to understand why Scarlet Witch was doing what she was doing.  I never watched that show so brother Jeff had to give me a crash course on it.

I read one or two of the comics that show was based on. It was okay. I didn't get into it overmuch. Interesting story though.

Yeah I just can't get into the Marvel TV shows.  Heck, I put She Hulk on my top five list, and I probably won't even watch the show.  Well, maybe the first episode.  But it'll have to be really good for me to keep watching.

When I was a kid, DC Comics was dominant and Marvel was kind of an afterthought (the only Marvel thing on TV when I was a kid was Lou Ferrigno's Incredible Hulk) so I'm more comfortable with Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.  I was a fan of Garfield when I was a kid. I even had the 9 Lives book, where one of the stories is of Garfield being a housecat that mauls his owner. And unlike the other stories, where other artists contributed, that story was written by Jim Davis himself.

I also liked Heathcliff, which actually came out a few years before Garfied did, and was still pretty well-known at the time.

Oh yeah, I had that Garfield: His 9 Lives book, too.  Great stuff.  You would never think now that there was that level of creativity.  That 9 Lives book also caused the whole Garfield book collection to be moved out of the kids section of the Library of Congress.

Yeah I remember Heathcliff, too.  Even watched the cartoon.  It was crap, but it was entertaining crap.

Thanks for listening!

I'm playing TMNT: Shredder's Revenge now. I was briefy into the Ninja Turtles as a bridge between Garfield and The Simpsons. I really enjoyed the arcade games, though I like the Simpsons arcade game better.

I just finished writing my review of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.  It'll post in a couple of weeks.  It's a very good game.
