It's a long story about facebook. I just got tired of all the bullcrap on there. I do miss our everyday chats though. =/ 

I'll try Dark Souls eventually. I'm not really scared of it. It can't be worse than Battletoads right? Several people had posted under the Anonomous thing lol. I did it the first time on Snee's blog. Don't forget to set your login to remember me.

I JUST caught the Remember Me setting after that Anon Post I left lol. Unfortunately though, I can't seem to find a way to delete it off of there. Oh well!

And that sucks about Facebook. I miss our gaming chats.

And Dark Souls is nowhere near as tough as Battletoads, that game is absolutely ridiculous! Dark Souls simply has a hefty learning curve. But once you learn how everything works, then it becomes a piece of cake. Perhaps my first official blog on here will be a Dark Souls "How To" guide..?

ah, now the circle is complete.  Man, I hope the new Dark Souls comes out this year, that would be rad.  You should have seen my brother when he visited during Xmas.  He played Dark SOuls the entire time practically.  He's an addict like you are, just loves that punishment.

HA, I don't know, but he's pretty addicted. I think you know the lore better than him though, I don't think he paid much attention to it.  

Does he own both PS3 and Xbox 360 copies of Dark Souls, and continue to play it despite having all the achievements?

But on a serious note, it is a great game. Gameplay, Lore, Characters/NPCs; they're all great. I can't wait for Dark Souls II.

It seems so overwhelming at first. There's so much to explore!

Oh, and you can save your 1up blogs to your hard drive in a couple of ways. If you have Chrome or Firefox, there's a "save page as" feature. That's how I backed up all 426 of my blogs.

Wow.. I couldn't imagine saving that many blogs.. I think I only have around 80 or so, but I'm not that worried about saving them. I prefer to keep moving forward, and if I have to rewrite then I shall do so with finesse! lol

Hello there!

Hey Chris, welcome to the site! I just beat Dark Souls myself and am anxious to talk about it with all of you new people. I'm following you now and I'll be sure to keep an eye out for when you post something on it. Such a fantastic game, pretty anxious to give Demon's Souls another spin and of course, I'm super pumped for Dark Souls 2, whenever that manages to release.

Thanks Nick!! Too bad I'm too late to the party, I was just pondering the idea of creating a Dark Souls Survival Guide (Explaining the combat system, levelling, etc), but it appears as if it will be useless to you now!

And thanks for the gracious welcoming party. I've been exploring your site all day and I love it so far (Although I have yet to find a review on Dark Souls LOL). But it's good stuff here man, I like what you all do!

Haha, yeah I guess a survival guide would be too late for me, but I'm certain there are others who would be thankful for the help. I agree completely though, it's a game that has a hefty learning curve, but once you get it, you're going to be alright.

As for the review... we kind of dropped the ball on it during the release window, so it just never happened. However, we do a feature called Review Rewinds that is pretty fitting for such a situation. I might just write one up depending on interest in the community and of course, a user review would be equally awesome!

There's simply not enough room on the entirety of the internet for me to post a review of Dark Souls. It's hands down my favorite game of all time, so I love to continually read everyone's point of view and review in regards to the game!

What up! I hate to admit but Demon Souls and Dark Souls is still sitting on my shelf wrapped in cellophane. I hope they don't turn off the PS3 servers soon. I really love old school Castlevania and Souls series really reminds me of a 3D reincarnation. I really wish I had a Master Sword to turn the clock back sometimes. 

No big man! The Demon's Souls servers WERE set to shut down, but due to immense amount of feedback from the active players, they decided to leave the servers up and running until the traffic dies. As for Dark Souls; I have yet to hear any rumors about their servers shutting down, so you should be good to go if you decide to play it!
